Casey and Aon - A Cybersafety Chapter Book For Kids is a book about a boy teaching his family robot about safety on the internet for children.
The book contains many good rules and advice and I very much like "Judgement 1.0".
The book would work well as a tool for discussing cybersafety with your kids. As a story I don't think it works as well though.

Young geek gets a new robot that he has to train. The robot doesn’t know much yet, wondering what’s in the ketchup tube, for instance. But at least he cleans up his messes, even if he doesn’t know what a reflection is.
Once on the tablet the curious robot wants to check everything internet-y, with the kid stopping him and explaining why he shouldn’t, which is the gist of this book. The kid speaks well above his age, and some of his words will probably need explaining to the young readers, but the book does impart a good dose of caution that even a few adults could find of value.
Huge chunk at the end dedicated to glossary, discussion points, and so on.

This is a cute cybersafety chapter book for kids to read with an adult and foster discussion about the internet, sharing personal information, the difference between the actual world and the virtual one, and bullying. Unfortunately there isn't much story for the child to be interested in and engaged with Casey or Aon. The glossary provides basic and clear definitions including Asimov's Laws of Robotics. There are also activities and discussion points for each chapter.

I believe it would be a good option to help foster discussion with children to help them understand their cybersecurity needs when used with other more engaging materials.

Interesting book about internet safety and etiquette. Glossary at the end is very useful. Good illustrations.

Casey and Aon have an important message for kids about internet safety and internet etiquette that is presented in a fun and informative way. There's also a glossary of terms at the back of the book that will be helpful. This book can bring about great discussion between parents and kids. I especially found thought-provoking how Casey tried to explain cyber bullying and why and how it can possibly be more painful to other kids because the audience is so much bigger.

Thank you to Amanda Greenslade, the publisher, and Netgalley, for the opportunity to read this book.
