Description

For as long as he can remember, Blake K. Healy has seen angels and demons. He sees them as clearly as he would see you if you were standing right in front of him. He sees angels dancing in worship services and whispering words of encouragement in people’s ears. He also sees demons latching on to people and perpetuating addiction and bitterness in their hearts.

The Veil chronicles how Blake matured in this gifting, while overcoming the fear and confusion of what he saw, how he learned to use his gift of seeing for God’s glory, and how to teach others to do the same.

This new and updated version of The Veil also includes a brief guide on how to begin growing in the gift of seeing in the spirit yourself, as well as an appendix of scriptural references to the spirit realm and angels, along with Blake’s commentary on these passages.

"Incredible is the term to use when speaking of this book. God's love is so big he wants us to see as he sees and Blake Healy communicates God's heart plainly. There are no big theological terms to stumble over, just plain talk. A must read, a page turner - I couldn't put it down."

"This book was a lot different than I thought it was going to be. I wasn't quite prepared, but from the first chapter, I was enthralled. Many things were confirmed to me. You know, I think that unless you've experienced a glimpse of the prophetic or spiritual, you might have a tendency to be skeptical about things like this....not surprisingly so. As one who has sensed these things my whole life, I am now ready to start SEEing them, as well."

This is a fascinating book. The author recounts his experiences of seeing 'beyond the veil'; seeing in the spirit a world that most of us never see. He certainly writes in a believable and convincing manner, although non-believers will, I suspect, have a hard time getting their heads around the stories that he recounts. I reread it twice though, so certainly a great read!

Blake Healy can see physically into the realm of the spirit world. His started seeing angels when he was two years old in the form of baseball sized lights bouncing along with the worship music in the car. He has also seen a pale demon with sharp teeth and a long pointed head during a parental argument. At the age of five he saw
people in a Moscow church tremble, weep, stand with their arms raised, dance, and receive healings in God’s Presence. He also saw colorful lights streaking along the ceiling and beautiful women who wore robes of paint and light ran across the tops of the chairs with fifty foot banners. But he also saw people crying out and writhing on the floor, shouting in unnatural tones, and men with scales on their necks and their eyes were as red as blood! His parents were not Pentecostal, and they would not have understood what he was seeing if he had the courage to tell them!
Blake discusses the differences between the body, soul and spirit, and he tries to describe what he is able to see in the spirit realm.
He also tells many more instances of angelic and demonic sightings and experiences, and he tells how hard it was for him to tell people what he saw around them, especially if it was negative and hard to believe, such as demonic interference in that person’s life.
You will need to read this book for yourself to learn about Blake’s experiences and how God has used him in his gift.
