Oh my goodness, ladies. This book had a story that went well beyond two people falling in love. I feel like I feel in love with a whole community. To be honest at times I felt like I was watching a movie  more than reading a book. The story line had so many layers and different sub-stories. The plot was meticulously planned out, and the characters were so well developed. It was a work of art to read.  Charlotte Nash captured the essence of the small town life and described the characters beautifully.

I grew up on a farm in rural Saskatchewan (that rectangle in the middle of Canada) so books that take place in small towns hold a special place in my heart. This one took me right back there. From the high turnover of doctors to trying to avoid being the topic of gossip, this book described the small town life perfectly.

This was a very wholesome book. It provided a glimpse into the emotional aspects and struggles of two people falling in love and didn't pay much mind to the physical parts of their relationship. Which was for the best. The story was engaging enough I didn't need sexy scenes to keep me interested.

I couldn't help falling in love with Daniella and Mark. They were so normal and likeable. They each had their own pasts and struggles to overcome before the relationship could succeed. One thing I appreciated about this book is the characters maintained their own identities throughout their courtship.

It wasn't an insta-love my entire world revolves around you story. There were sacrifices and compromise from both parties in the relationship. It was so refreshing to read.

I recommend this book for anyone looking for a good read. It's long and there's a lot going on so you might not want to skim it. I'd recommend planning to read it over a weekend. No doubt it will leave you with a smile on your face.

Hey everyone! This ebook was kindly provided by the author/publisher via Netgalley  in exchange for my honest review.

Oh, I enjoyed this book. It had everything I want in a romance. I think I developed a crush on Mark the first time we met him. Daniella wasn't as confident and sassy as I like my heroines, but she was smart and had a good heart. This book had a little sex, lots of romance, and I could have read more.

This was a nice change of pace for me and a great story. The backdrop is in very rural New Zealand and Daniella, a physician with a secret has left Brisbane to her father's dismay and headed to a rural town to hep out in a small hospital there. We'd see it more like a urgent care clinic but being mindful this is way outback and medicine is very different there, we get a wonderful glimpse into life there.
She's helping out another Dr, who's been in the town for years, much loved and he embraces her presence. Daniella lacks a little confidence at first it seems, she second guesses herself a lot and that has to do with what drove her from her very good job in Brisbane.
Here she meets Mark Walker, Mark has come home to settle on the family station and get things back up and running and profitable. One misfortune is they (the family) make dealings with a wealthy witch who's always had her sights set on Mark. Mark doesn't like her and her trickery and dirty dealing no absolutely no bounds. Toward the end a couple things she did left me slack jawed. Mark is no dummy though. But trying to get his father onboard is another thing. With her sister in Brisbane at university and his older brother Will a few towns aways working in the mines, nothing seems easy there. Daniella makes a good friend with Jackie a co worker, single mom with a young son and there's a story there that I'd love to read as well as Will's which we get a glimpse of at the end of this book.
I really enjoyed this book. It's a great love story. No descriptive sex but you know they're knocking boots after a time.
I loved the characters, except the witch. There are several twists that are well written and I wasn't sure how they'd work out. There was no simple story here. Great story and I recommend this for a nice relaxing read.

Mark lives on Ryder's Station hours outside of Brisbane. He helps run the family's ranch, with his father. Times are tough. There has been droughts and a fire. Mark is working hard trying to bring the ranch back to prosperity.
Daniella is a doctor. She had meeting bad happen at the hospital she worked at in Brisbane. Coupled with the pressure her successful trauma surgeon dad is putting in her to become a surgeon, Daniella escapes to Ryder's Station to take a job as a physician.
There is an attraction between Mark and Daniella. As their feelings for one another grow, the town mean girl does her best to come between them. There is a great cat of suporting characters too.
I want sure I'd like this book. Since it is set in Australia, there are a lot of things and terms that I was unfamiliar with. But I read the book through in one evening. I received a copy of this book and I'm leaving my review.

Reading a Charlotte Nash book is just a delight. Nash provides an enthralling and captivating read with a cast of wonderful characters. Dr Daniella Bell and Mark Walker are fantastic, flawed main characters who are both dealing with their own issues but find time to love one another. The small town setting of Ryder's Ridge provides us with country politics, a farming community and colourful characters. Plus there's a villain! I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

I received an arc from Netgalley. At first I had a hard time getting into this book but I am glad I kept reading. Mark and Daniella had an instant attraction and a beautiful story.

I love the setting of this book on a cattle station and a small town. This small town is where everyone knows everyone’s business and one scorned lady tries to tear Mark and Daniella apart. Too bad for her though because what comes around goes around.

Great read and great author.

Dr. Daniella Bell came to Ryders Ridge to escape a trauma she had experienced at the hospital in Brisbane. She felt if she got a place with a slower pace, she would be able to recover and heal from the devastating experience. She planned to only be there for a short time and then move on to complete her training.

Mark Walker had done some traveling but he was back in Ryders Ridge to settle down. He was the heir to his family's cattle station. When he first laid eyes on Dr. Bell, he was smitten and definitely wanted to get to know her better. Would she be staying and pursuing a relationship with him or would she move on when her time in Ryders Ridge was over? Could he risk his heart?

This was a beautiful story with intrigue, medical drama, romance, small town challenges and promises. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and building a connection with the characters. There were some sex scenes in the book but they were not descriptive, which I appreciated it. The romance was definitely there and Mark was certainly swoon worthy.

I was given an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a beautiful story with a fabulous setting a small country town in outback Queensland with a gorgeous hero Mark Walker who helps run the family cattle station and heroine Danielle Bell a doctor running from the city to try and overcome a tragic incident, can these two forge a future together or will they be pulled apart?

Danielle has moved to the small country town of Ryders Ridge, determined to get over her past and decide her future without the pressure from her surgeon father and everything else that goes with living in a big city, but when she meets Mark Walker sparks fly and Danielle reaches inside herself to look to the future. Danielle falls for Mark they hit it off so well and she has made friends but there is a couple of people and rumours that cause problems and could very well pull them undone.

Mark spots Danielle for the first time at the local pub and he is lost but it takes a bit before he can convince her to go out with him and with an old girlfriend of Mark’s causing problems and he is sure that Danielle is keeping things to herself their journey is a bit of a rocky one but Mark is determined to win her over.

It takes an accident for Danielle to see that she must open up about her past and then things start to run more smoothly for them, of course their future is going to be a little different from the normal but when two people love each other nothing is impossible. I really enjoyed this story I loved the characters in the small town and Danielle and Mark are perfect for each other, and I look forward to more stories in this series, thank you MS Nash for a fabulous story, a beautiful romance with ups and downs and a fabulous HEA, this is one that I do very much recommend.

This was a new one for me because i have never read a romance set in Australia before.

Daniella is a Dr in a big hospital, but something happens and she decides to take a position as a local Gp in the middle of rural Oz, home of rancher country. The hospital is basically 2 rooms and she is given low cost accomodation as part of her job.

She gets stuck in and meets some locals including Mark who is the son of owner of the largest cattle ranch in thr area. Mark has 2 brothers, one who helps him on the ranch and another who works in the mines upcountry.

There are quite a few secrets floating around in this book that you dont see coming, and overall it was a really good read.

This book was like a wonderful adventure in Australia; a land that I have never visited but I’m sure I would enjoy because of this talented author and her storytelling. Daniella is an interesting character because though she’s a well trained and perfectly competent doctor she’s unsure of herself and can’t see a clear career path ahead, professionally and personally. That complicates matters when she meets Mark, who runs a huge family cattle operation in the small town of Ryder’s Ridge. Mark is a wonderfully appealing character who loves the land and wants nothing more than to live his life like his forefathers. Unfortunately, monetary concerns have forced his father to deal with investors that Mark fears will cause him to lose everything he holds dear. The mutual romantic spark between Daniella and Mark is sweetly compelling and though they come from very different worlds, Mark’s infatuation kept me hoping for a happy ending. There are plenty of interesting secondary characters that populate this small community where social customs and gossip revolve around everyday life in Ryder’s Ridge. All in all this is a well told coming of age story that I found emotionally compelling and entertaining, while it gave me a small glimpse of a country that I will only ever see in my dreams. I read a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

I thoroughly enjoyed Ryder's Ridge, the story of Dr. Daniella Bell, who took a posting in the Australian Outback in an effort to get away from something in her past that was haunting her. As she settles into her new community, she meets a rancher, the attractive Mark Walker. But will beginning a relationship with him expose her past and ruin everything? Will she run away again rather than face it? When Mark is seriously injured is exposing her past more important than saving him? Daniella faces so many decisions...what is the right one? A great story that keeps you entertained from the first page to the last!
