New York Times bestselling author Maisey Yates delights again! In Gold Valley, Oregon, forbidden desire just might turn into the love of a lifetime…

When Lindy Parker lost her cheating husband, she gained a vineyard. She’ll do anything for Grassroots Winery, including teaming up with the hottest devil she knows, rancher Wyatt Dodge. Wyatt is her ex’s friend and has an ego as big as the bulls he rides. But in spite of that, disciplined Lindy has always wanted him…

Lightning struck Wyatt Dodge the first time he saw Lindy Parker. But there were two problems with that: she was married to his friend, and Wyatt doesn’t do strings. But now Lindy is free, and the two of them can finally explore the heat that’s burned between them for so long. But can Lindy make this good time cowboy decide on forever?

When Lindy and Wyatt saw each other for the first time it was though they had been struck by lightning. But Lindy was married to Wyatt's friend and so that was that. Then years later, after Lindy divorces her philandering husband, her attraction to Wyatt is as strong as ever. They have both been hurt in life and love so it takes a lot of work for them to be able to trust each other. I really enjoyed this book and love the series.

"This thing between us...I don't know what the hell it is. If I kiss you right now, if you kissed me back...I think we would light this whole vineyard on fire. All those pine trees would go up like a lit match and dry tinder. We'd start a whole forest fire, baby. I don't want to give you a gift. I want to burn out this thing between us until there's nothing left but ashes. Ashes aren't a gift. They're evidence of destruction. That's what I think might happen if we touch. That we may well ruin everything around us, but it might be worth it."

Good Time Cowboy is the perfect read for a hot summer day...

Good Time Cowboy is the third book in the Gold Valley Series, but it can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone novel. Good Time Cowboy follows the story of Wyatt and Lindy. Lindy is trying to move on from the divorce of her husband. While she may have lost his lying, cheating self; Lindy gained his family and the vineyard. There's nothing Lindy won't do to see the vineyard succeed. And if she has to team up with her ex's bff, then she'll do just that...Wyatt is everything Lindy shouldn't want, but can't stay away from. He's her total opposite. And even though these two should stay away from one another the fire between them is just to hot to let burn out...

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I loved the writing and the story-line sucked me in. I really enjoyed Lindy and Wyatt together. I thought they had great banter and I loved their chemistry. Their story had just the right mix of steam and drama. I enjoyed watching Wyatt and Lindy navigate their way to a happily ever after and I couldn't put their story down. Good Time Cowboy is the perfect read to spend the day getting lost in. Oh, and there's a bonus novella at the end that was a fun little treat.
