After reading the original many years ago, I wanted to check out this updated version. I don’t agree with everything Ramsey suggests, but is debt snowball is proven to help people manage their debt and move forward.

This is a practical step-by-step guide to help beginners get out of debt. The plan is easy to follow and helps keep people motivated to achieve the next step. I think it is best for beginners as it makes debt more approachable at a time when people might be stuck and unsure where to even start.

Dave Ramsey’s book always leave me so focused, encouraged, and determined to keep changing. I love to hear his thoughts and advice. Wonderful book! Highly recommend.

Fantastic self help in finance!

I read the original Total Money Makeover back in 2015. We utilized the fantastic snowball method and paid off all of our debt except for out mortgage. It was so exciting to finish. While I don't agree with everything that Mr. Ramsey teaches, this book changed our lives and minds on how we deal with money in our household.
I was interested to see what had been updated and expanded for this new release. While I didn't find much new information, it is still the great guidebook on how to get and stay out of debt while building for your future. If you stick to it, it's proven to make a difference.

There is so much good information in here that everyone needs this book. I bought this book along with his others but didn’t have a digital copy - now I can carry it everywhere with me.

Such a great and interesting read. I am excited to put the steps in place for financial freedom. The book offers practical and easy to follow instructions whilst educating you for the changes,

One of the most useful books I have probably ever read. I may not follow everything, but the steps in this book are a very good way to reach financial stability. I really like how you are only supposed to use cash, but realistically, that is very hard to do in this time in history. For me, I'm trying to make sure I have the cash first, and then pay it off right away. Other than a few things, spot on. I would recommend that the testimonials be in a different font or weight. It takes a minute to realize that it isn't Dave speaking.

Big fan of Dave Ramseys financial books. They have helped me a lot through my life in purchasing property and savings. I have read the original Money Makeover, and I liked the expansion on a lot of his points. Definitely a great read and well worth it if you are wanting to change your life and gain financial freedom.

An absolute classic. Dave Ramsey is always good but this is definitely his best. I had read the Earlier version and I was definitely due for a reread. This updated and expanded edition is like a booster shot in the arm! When the cover says “proven method” I can tell you it’s true. We have paid off our personal debt living this way. I constantly quote him, “Live like no one else now so you can live like no one else later.”
