I really liked this book. Just downloaded yesterday and loved it. The devotions were very good and easy to get through. I am a person who colors to relieve stress or just to calm myself into a restful sleep. I loved almost all the pages wish I could color them right now. I will also buy this for my bestie Thank you netgalley and the publisher for providing an ebook copy in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this devotional so much that I have pre-ordered it from Amazon. The devotional's are very easy to read and the pictures that are included to color are very pretty. In my opinion this is a very good devotional to take away the stress and worry of the day. I can't wait for it to be released! A lovely book of 52 devotionals augmented by beautifully drawn pictures to colour.
The Barbour Staff have brought together Bible verses and extracts with first person prayerful meditations which read as down-to-earth discussions with God that include adoration, confession, thanksgiving and supplication.

Many of the pictures could be described as banners with key words or a phrase included within them. I think these are lovely affirmations. As I looked more closely at them several prompted me to think of other scriptures.


I highly recommend this book to others who are looking for an accessible, easily read and enjoyable weekly devotional. I am sure that this book will prove to be one that brings clarity, hope and reassurance of God's love and grace each time it is read, be it weekly, or more regularly, or revisited year on year.

I downloaded the book a few hours ago, started going through it, no intention of reading it yet - got to the first page, didn’t stop until I was at the end.

Gorgeous cover. Gorgeous coloring pages - what a concept bringing them together with Bible scriptures, faith devotionals, and heart-felt meditations with God, to create a wonderful feeling of peace, communion and kind-hearted spiritual affirmation.

I will be gifting this book to each of the strong, authentic, beautiful, constant, and faithful women in my life because it is as exceptional and unique as they are.

What I enjoy best about this devotional are the prayers. I find myself extremely moved by them as they are quite similar to ones I have penned in my own prayer journal. The bonus is the coloring sheet to go along with them. You will find the pictures are pretty and feminine and enjoyable to color as you ponder the prayers and perhaps even lift some of your own up to our redemptive Lord of hosts.

As always, devotionals are not meant to take the place of daily Bible study but to enhance what you are already doing. I am inclined to believe this particular devotional would make a great gift for someone who is struggling with their prayer life, or even questions how to pray. A non-believer would benefit by seeing the simplicity and normalcy of prayer. No fancy words. No difficult format. Just an honest heart speaking to God with respect and love.

Every devotional open with some verses from the Scriptures, then there is an inspiring religious comment.

There is multiple devotionals with various subjects. Included is varied pages that you can color. It would make a great gift for a Christian that likes to read. When there is a challenge in life you can go to this book and read a Bible verse and the a devotional on the subject.
