Read this in one sitting, and it had me in tears at one point. It was challenging and upsetting at times, but the subject matter was handled delicately and didn't go into distressing unncessary details. I couldn't put it down, I was alternatively sad, happy and enraged and frustrated. An excellent read, highly recommended.

If you read one book this year make sure it's Found! The characters in this are truly remarkable it's rare to find a book where every character is likeable, especially a thriller with police and a family. I loved that Erin approached the subject matter respectfully. I will be keeping a keen eye on her future work.
5/5 I would score higher if possible!

Evan, 11, fails to return home from school. His parents are thrown into their worst nightmare, their child has disappeared without a trace.
The feelings of despair and the agony Evan`s parents and grandparents suffer are believably portrayed by the author.
Then many months later Evan is found and reunited with his family, the struggle to come to terms with what has happened is almost as difficult as when he was missing.
Life will never be the same again for any of them.
Their fight back to a new normality is truly moving.
This book drew me in and evoked a host of emotions, a truly touching story, totally believable and really well written.
I shall definitely be watching out for more by this author.
Thanks to Netgalley and Headline for allowing me to read this as an ARC

This is an amazing book! It draws you in, increases your heart rate, takes you on an emotional rollercoaster and has you checking your loved ones are safe.
Evan was only 11 when he went to school one day but didn’t come home. His parents are devastated beyond their worst nightmare. Evan has vanished leaving no trace. They struggle to function, struggle to live. But time, life, moves on.
Then, many many months later Evan is found. Miraculously. Unbelievably. Mercifully. He is alive
Where did he go? Who took him? Why? What happened?

You are rooting for Evan, his family, his recovery. You are drawn in, breathless, hopeful, saddened, overwhelmed, shocked,
If you only read one book this year, make it this book.
