Cute book using the alphabet and key words that are motivational and affirming for children as well as adults! “C” Creativity: To create is to use your imagination and then has an illustration. Very well done.

This is the perfect book for children and adults alike. It is perfect to learn about or remember essential things in life such as "trusting in oneself", being conscious of one's worth and always staying positive.
Al lthe letters of the alphabet are used in order to remind us of affirmations that are important such as :
"B for Belief. A belief is a thought you choose to keep thinking. I believe in myself."
The illustrations are powerful and well chosen.
This book is perfect for young children and combines education and un.
A must have!

Simple catchy title and great format going through A to Z. It’s not easy for parents to help our children with their emotions - this book is going to help me guide conversations with my children and help them develop that positive attitude that we all need. Great book!

I KNOW I AM by Christine Michaelides and Da'Shon Reid is a fun book full of affirmations for the young listener or reader and adults alike. I enjoyed reading this and looking at the fun illustrations that go with each letter. I did not like every single definition of the words because I felt like some of them were not written to be understood by little kids but overall I enjoyed the experience and what it teaches.

I Know I am by Christine Michaelides. This is a very cute children’s book. I like that it does the alphabet with feelings for all to enjoy. Children especially kindergarteners would enjoy the book read to them, I do not think kindergarteners or first graders could read it themselves.

This is a case of my expectations not matching the book. When I read "alphabetical affirmations" I assumed that there would be one affirmation per letter, in alphabetical order. It isn't.
What it is is a collection of words and affirmations more or less in alphabetical order.

A = "affirmations" (a definition.) OK, I'm following. Sets the stage,
B= "Belief" (a definition). Still with you
C = "I am creative." This is cool.
D. (author skipped)
E. (author skipped)
F. "I am focused." I go back and look for D and E. Twice. Feel lost. Continue on.
F. "Focused" (a definition) OK, so now we have two Fs.
G. (also skipped)
I won't continue--you get the picture.

Basically, if you overlook the whole "alphabetical" part of the title, it's a cute book. The art is colorful, fun, and shows diverse children. The affirmations are sweet. It's a totally adorable book once you let go of the idea that it is alphabetical.

A uniquely contrive book that eclipses the alphabet, words meaning and the appropriate usage of these words as it relates to oneself. The new and unique words would give kids a wider vocabulary and a more affirmative and creative way of expressing themselves with confidence. It's educative and informative.

Very sweet book of affirmations for children. A bit long, but I could see this going over well as a bedtime story type book.

This was so fun to share with the littles! They loved the colorful pages and the affirmations were an appropriate level for them.

Beautiful book. Loved the illustrations and the simple but effective definitions of feelings. Loved the racial inclusiveness of the book, and the encouragement to be, and be still and calm. So simple yet so profound.
A great book for myself, and brilliant for my grandchild.
