Daily devotions for Christians to be inspired each day.
Great and short devotions for the busy person to read,
keep up prayer life and stay close to God daily.

I like being to read a short devotion, think, reflect, and pray
without it becoming a burden in my busy schedule.

This is a must read for all Christians of any denomination!!

I was immediately hooked when the opening page of this devotional contained lyrics from “ In the Garden”, a beautiful hymn I remember from childhood. My enjoyment continued as I found today’s date and read the devotion about our assurance of Heaven with Jesus, including a scripture reading, and connection of the scripture to everyday life, and a point to remember.

I love that each devotion is long enough to have real substance, yet short enough to easily incorporate into my morning routine. I also appreciate that the devotional focuses on the importance of developing a real relationship with Jesus, not simply following the “rules of religion”, because being a Christian is so much more than a list of rules. It’s an opportunity to walk hand in hand with the Creator.

"And He walks with me" is a Christian Living book. We all need to refresh and renew our daily Christian life. This book gives a scripture reading and an personal story to apply to the passage. The readings are great for busy people. They point the reader closer to the Lord. The readings are not long. The devotionals are done by different people. The devotionals are for all ages and for men and women. Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book. The opinions I have given are my own.

This collection of 365 daily devotions are rich in content and comforting in presentation. Taking just a few minutes a day to read and absorb, it serves as a reminder of the grace of God through very accessible language and insightful stories and illustrations. Each devotional is written by a different author that highlights their unique personality and talent. I believe any teenager or adult would enjoy and find great value in this book.

The ebook version I received was particularly lovely as the scripture references were linked to the website, biblegateway.com. On my kindle, I was able to click back to the devotional and continue with the touching reading. Each day ends with a quote to take with you and reflect on throughout your day.
I really enjoy a good devotional each year and though, in order to review this book, I selected a few from the months to read; I will be using this personally, for coming year.

I have always loved the devotions from Our Daily Bread, and I think this devotional book is one of their best. These devotions are prefect for beginning or ending your day. There’s a short suggested Scripture reading and thoughtfully written devotional for each day of the year. I read through many of these devotions in order to write this review and enjoyed each one. But I think the true value would be reading one scripture passage/devotion each morning and meditating on it throughout the day. Highly recommend this book and looking forward to reading it day by day.

I have been working my way through this and it is ok, nothing special, I feel like I am reading it more out of habit then out of enjoyment. I am not sure what I would say it is lacking, or what would make it better.

Always a pleasure to have this devotional on hand. The simple yet deep approach keep my faith alive.
