I loved this feel-good story of family, loss and love. It was fun to meet all the Steele brothers and the author Brenda Jackson did an excellent job of filling in all the information of the supporting characters. I read this as a stand alone novel but I would love to go back and read the whole “Forged of Steele” series. An excellent book to curl up with this Spring. I am so happy to discover the world of Steele. I thoroughly enjoyed this excellently written feel good story and have actually gone back to find the other stories to add them to my TBR list.
Mercury Steele and Sloan Donahue are so well matched. Even through their relationship did not exactly start out as friendly soon Mercury is Sloan's landlord and fronting her the money she needs to stand firm and tall against the arranged marriage her parents want to force her into.
When a Steele falls he definitely falls to the delight of his readers. A definite thumbs up.

They’re back! Those six ultra handsome brothers with the Smokey Robinson eyes who are also known as the Bad News Steeles of Phoenix, Arizona. There are only two remaining single brothers, Mercury and Gannon. SEDUCED BY A STEELE is Mercury’s story. From the first chapter, the reader is quickly engaged when Mercury, a car collector, spots his vintage car on the street that he reported stolen. What are the chances! Of course he calls the police and follows the car until the driver parks it at a shopping mall. The confrontation between Mercury and the female driver marks the beginning of an intriguing story. Enter Sloan Donahue, the driver and “thief” of the “stolen” car.
Loved, loved, loved revisiting the Steele family of Phoenix, headed by Drew and Eden Tyson Steele, that has grown with the marriages of four of the brothers. If you are not familiar with Galen, Tyson, Eli and Jonas’ stories, I recommend them. At the opposite end of the side characters spectrum are the parents and want-to-be husband of Sloan. These folks are a piece of work. However, the Boo-Hiss Award goes to Sloan’s father, the pretentious Carter H. Donahue. I’ll let you discover why. As bad as he thinks he is, he is no match for the incomparable Mercury Steele. The Epilogue houses a wonderful HEA.

Watching playboy Mercury fall for sweet Sloane in this romantic slow burn and sensual love story was great way spend my quite afternoon. Classic romance for all readers of the genre.

Sloan Donahue is a runaway heiress who is penniless and on the run from her tyrannical family who is trying to force her into a loveless marriage for financial gain. So when Mercury discovers her predicament he does the only thing he can think of -- he takes her to his parents.

Mercury is determined that he will not be the next Steele to fall but finds that he cannot resist seducing Sloane. But his seduction will lead to more than he planned or expected.

As always Brenda Jackson hits a home run. This is an excellent book. I love the dynamic between Mercury and Sloan. The bad boy has been tamed! He can't seem to help himself when it comes to helping Sloan get out from under her dictatorial parents.
