Transfer From Alcatraz has all the character variety of Pulp Fiction, and all the mystery and thrills of Silence of the Lambs, in a less darker sense.

Eddie Owens’s TRANSFER FROM ALCATRAZ is a mad rollercoaster ride of twists, turns, agendas and I can honestly say, I never saw THAT end coming! Filled with attitude, atmosphere and a cast of characters that are sure to amuse and entertain, this mystery has a very creative plot, indeed!

Engrossing. Historical murders at Alcatraz that were covered up as normal deaths. What is true what is a lie? Red is hired to investigate and the race is on. This book was so hard to put down!! The characters were phenomenal and the twists and turns of the plot have you sitting on the edge of your seat until the very end!!

Thank you NetGalley and Eddie Owens for this edition and hearing my honest review. Looking forward to reading more with you

I loved this book, not quite what I was expecting. I don't know if it is based on truth or not but truth for fictions I'm surprised that it has been allowed. I suppose too many years have passed for it to be libellous. I loved my visit to Alcatraz and I thought this was a great story. No spoiler alerts from me! .Caitlin “Red” Raeburn is an ex cop now private detective. When an elderly gent asks her to look into 8 murders which were committed 50 years ago she is intrigued. and finds out more than she bargained for!
