This book will be seen on my shelf! Such a beautifully illustrated read that inspires and encourages conversations regarding what prayer can do.

Twelve women who faithfully prayed for God's hand in their lives. Names like Helen Keller, Esther, Lottie Moon, Hannah, and Faye Edgerton to name a few. Some names are from the bible but some are women that your daughter may not know but a great role model. This is a great devotion for mother and daughter to share on prayer and how prayer works. It is not list of demands but of aligning with God's will. A short snapshot and scripture for each women. Highly recommend.
A special thank you to Barbour Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review

I really liked this book because it talks about Bible women who were in trouble and asked God to help them. God helped each of them. For example, Deborah told Barak that the army was coming after God's people. Together Barak and Deborah saved God's army because she prayed.
I would recommend this book for girls ages 5-13. I really enjoyed reading it! (From an 11 year old girl)

This book was lovely!
The title "She Prayed" sums up the contents perfectly!
I loved that the first woman from the Bible it talks about is Deborah. So many people skip over her story and it's so important to tell young ladies about -
She was the only woman judge in the Bible and a mighty woman of God who knew prayers of Thanksgiving are important!
All of the stories of the Godly women contained in this book are inspiring and I absolutely would recommend it for young ladies ages 5 through pre-teen.
