ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dana Becker writes Amish romantic suspense as well as narrative non-fiction, including The Happily Ever After: A Memoir of an Unlikely Romance Novelist (Knopf/Doubleday), under the name Avi Steinberg. As Avi Steinberg, Dana is also a regular contributor for The New York Times Magazine and The New Yorker’s Culture Desk blog. Born in Jerusalem and raised in Ohio, in a home where tradition and faith were everything, Dana spent many summers in the middle of Western Pennsylvania Amish country, getting to know Amish neighbors and their ways. Today Dana lives in Michigan, and spends time mostly taking orders from a newborn daughter.
