OH MY GOODNESS!! HOLD ON LET ME COMPOSE MYSELF!! TIJAN DID IT AGAIN! She wrote an amazing book, a book you get lost in page after page! In one afternoon this book consumed me! I wish there was enough words in the English dictionary to describe how amazing this book was! It was an exceptionally well written, and it keeps you wanting more! Tijan writes about her characters as if she was there along side them, I guess in someway, shape and form she is! Kash and Bailey's chemistry from the beginning was what set the tone for the book, the pull between the two even when both were fighting it, keeps you wanting to turn the pages. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what their future hold. Kash is a mystery and the deeper you dive into the book the more about Kash is exposed to the reason why he is such a mystery! As much as I love how fiercely protective Kash is from the beginning and the way he loves Bailey, I cannot get enough of how fiercely independent, strong and Intelligent Bailey is! The only thing I am sad about is that it ended on a cliffhanger but only because I have to wait to find out what happens next!!
There are so many lines in the book that I fell in love with but I absolutely loved when Kash told Bailey “I fell in love with you before you even knew me." Even when he didn't say those words nicely!
You will not regret reading this book! All I have left to say is Tijan you are an amazing Author! Thank you for writing books we fall in love with over and over again! This book will not disappoint!

This new world is just....gah!!! I love it. I am not surprised at all because Tijan is an aging story teller, but I love how her writing pulls you in and wraps you up and you ARE listening to the characters, you are living it, you can feel every emotion and see every detail from the small to big things. Its a rare talent but one that she brings to the table every single time!!!! I'm really hoping there is more to this story, it was kind of a cliff hanger there.

I absolutely loved Insiders by Tijan. Tijan is not a new author to me. I feel like for the price you pay you always get your money's worth. From my knowledge this will be a trilogy. I am thoroughly looking forward to the other two books. I absolutely loved Bailey and Kash, and cannot wait to see how this story unfolds. Publish everything this author writes because it is pure gold! All of her books are so very rich with details, and it is a true escape from this reality.

I usually love Tijan's books and this one does not disappoint. It is a action filled story of a young woman thrust into a life she should have been born into but is now learning her way. It has love, deception, family dynamics, and a bit of action movie plot to it. It does wrap up the story by the end, but leaves plenty of room for the sequel to begin immediately after. I would recommend this to anyone who loves Tijan's books already and anyone starting out as well. #netgalley

This book was so entertaining. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and was involved until the end. The characters were complex and interesting. I found the story to be well paced and engrossing throughout the whole book. There were family secrets and corporate intrigue throughout the book as well. I was invested in the couple throughout the book and felt all the emotions through both the highs and lows of the story. If you want an entertaining and well written book this is it for you.I will caution that it’s not a cliffhanger per se but after reading the end of the book I’m so anxious to read the next in this series..

THE INSIDERS by Tijan
This is one addicting story! After I read the first paragraph, I couldn’t put this down until I finished it. Bailey who was raised by a single mother, has a genius IQ with a photographic memory, she is a young computer hacker. She has inherited her skills from the computer genius billionaire father that she didn’t know was related to her. When a kidnapping attempt goes awry when Kash rescues her, Bailey is moved to her father’s mansion which brings her to her three siblings. Kash is guarding her and she is very drawn to him. This is a 5 star read.

I loved this book, it had drama, suspense, and some sizzling romance. There were so many twist and turns in this plot. The chemistry between Kash and Bailey was smoking, I actually enjoyed that the sex scenes were not too explicit but that didn’t stop Tijan from including some sexual situations that were more bold when it came to Matt and his friends. The connection between Kash and Bailey kept growing and growing and at times I waited for things to fall apart but Bailey is feisty and loyal and would not let him back away from her. Some characters I did not like right away but got better, others were awful, and some were great. Towards the end there were some shockers I did not see coming and now I’m gearing up for the next book wondering what is going to happen now that their next enemy has come calling. The start of another great series by Tijan. I was given an ARC by the author and publishing via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Tijan takes us into a whole new world unlike any she has ever written with The Insiders. This book is captivating from the very first paragraph, where we are thrown into a world of intrigue. The pace is set fast, which held me, hostage until the last page, where I kept clicking in hopes more would appear.

This story takes me back to the original Tijan, who writes quirky characters who come into their own with an Alpha male character steeped in mystery. This book takes the time to introduce us to the myriad of characters the heroine interacts with and setting up what I envision to be an epic storyline that will continue through the rest of the series.

Bailey has some quirks that make her wonderfully unique but still slightly immature in social settings. Kash is rough around the edges and keeps EVERYTHING about his life close to the vest, while Bailey is an open book. Bailey brings out a softer, more caring side in Kash while he is helping her learn how to handle more serious situations.

The characters are a little older than what we have come to expect from Tijan, along with a whole new story arc, unlike anything we have seen yet. This is a slightly more mature voice we haven't really seen from Tijan as this world needs to be navigated from a more adult place. This may throw off some readers. I love that Tijan is stretching her boundaries and enjoy this new, more mature voice. I will be anxiously awaiting book two even though book one doesn't come out until May.

This book gave me all the feels. There was mystery, heart wrenching moments, laughter, and swoon worthy romance. Bailey is soft spoken and slightly lost throughout the story, but Kash proves to be her strength and voice. I enjoyed this book, and as always am anxiously awaiting the next.

I kinda just want to start off with one of those slow claps. I think this book deserves that along with a standing ovation. I’ve been a fan of Tijan for a long time. Lately I just haven’t gotten that feeling of excitement with the last few books I’ve read. It was like something was missing and so going into this book I was a bit nervous and the blurb kinda gave me a fallen crest vibe. And while I can see a few similarities it was not the case. I read this book from beginning to end in a few hours. It kept you on the edge of your seat waiting to find out how it was going to play out.
This book had everything I loved about Tijan books and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

As a hoarder of books, I have many books and audiobooks from Tijan. I hear such great things about her books that I've been accruing them on my TBR list. When I received this book from NetGalley as an early read, I was excited to get into it. And into it I got- from page 1 to the end, I was entrenched in the world that was created. It is a trilogy, which I didn't realize until later, but the ending was still well done and whet the appetite for more.

I adored Bailey. She was smart, nerdy but cool and snarky. I loved when she hacked into the unhackable system developed by her father. The premise is that she is the unacknowledged child of a tech giant and is therefore, a target for a group that wants to acquire her. Kash, a mysterious colleague (or more?? read to find out) is helping to protect her. Their snarky exchanges made me laugh. The book slowly reveals the relationships between all the different characters, unraveling a connection and a thread that will play out over the trilogy. The one developing relationship that was a bit subtle, perhaps too subtle was the romantic one between Kash and Bailey. He seemed so much more mature than her too and it made for a slightly stilted relationship.

An interesting supportive cast rounds out this book and I'm definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the series. Thanks to NetGalley for the early read!

This is the first time I have ever read a book by Tijan, but it certainly will not be the last. Her writing style is right up my alley where it brings the characters to life for me, the book flows, there are descriptions but not so much that you're thinking "ok let's move on already".
Bailey, our heroine, is a computer hacker genius with a very high IQ. And she's sassy and spunky. Just what our hero, Kashton, needs in his life it seems. He's stoic and serious. But they complement each other well.
I want to keep this spoiler-free, so without giving anything away the family dynamic in this book kept me interested (and guessing) right up until the end.
The premise for the book was very interesting to me. I don't read romance books about computer genius hackers very often, so this one seemed like a pretty fresh idea to me. With a little action and suspense thrown in, it kept me captivated throughout the entire book and I actually read it in about a day!
Now, please excuse me while I go look up every other book Tijan has ever written and devour them!

Tijan’s ‘The Insiders’ is a delightful, sexy mind puzzle that was a joy to decipher piece by piece. The first in a trilogy, it’s not a standalone, though the ending isn’t a complete cliffhanger and sets up the next book nicely.

When Bailey Hayes becomes the victim of a failed kidnapping attempt, she discovers that she’s the daughter of her idol, billionaire tech god Peter Francis. Instantly, Bailey has a choice. Disappear into with her mother and start over, or finally meet the father and half-siblings she never knew she had. The choice is an easy one, especially when she meets Kashton Colello, the mysterious man designated as her protector. But Bailey will soon realize that beyond the glamour of wealth lies myriad secrets.

As a fan of Tijan’s other work, I can say that this one might be my new favorite. It’s a departure from her typical story telling in fresh and exciting way. The chemistry between Bailey and Kash is nothing short of combustible, and the slow unraveling of their attraction to each other is absolutely captivating to read. (Not to mention super hot.) Add in a great cast of secondary characters and you’ve got yourselves one heck of a story, one that will keep you guessing until the very end.

My first thoughts after finishing this book are “OMG! What did I just read”? and “When can I get my hands on the next book”??? The Insiders was everything I didn’t know I needed and I couldn’t get enough of it. Yes, this is the cancel all your plans kind of book. You will be sucked into this story instantly and will be powerless to put it down.

Now, I’ll be honest with you. When I picked up this book, I had only read the synopsis for it once. That’s right. One time. I read it when the book was first announced months ago and that was enough for me. So, in a way, I kind of went into this one blind. I really didn’t have a clue as to what I was getting myself into or what I was about to read. All I really knew was that Tijan has a new book coming out and I’ve got to read it. And let me tell you, I am so glad I went into this blind. I loved diving into this book without a clue. For me, it completely enhanced the experience.

The Insiders captivated me from page one. I was hooked. I didn’t have the slightest clue what was going on and I was kept guessing the entire time. This book was completely unpredictable. Even as I was approaching the end, I still had no idea how things were going to go and I loved it. LOVED it!

There’s so much I want to say right now, but I can’t. I won’t do that to you. I want this story to be as much of a mystery for you, as it was for me. Here’s what I can say: Cancel your plans. Be prepared to want to devour this book in a single sitting…but don’t devour it, savor it. There are twists and unexpected turns. Remember, I said this book isn’t predictable and it is super easy to get lost in. There is romance, mystery, intrigue, and moments that will keep you on your toes. And when you come to the end, you’ll be just like me, dying to get your hands on the next book in this series…

I was beyond giddy to be reading The Insiders early. I’ve loved Tijan’s books since I one-clicked Fallen Crest High in 2013.

Then I read it .... and I haven’t felt this obsesses with a group of characters since I met Samantha, Mason and Logan. I desperately want more.

Tijan’s latest romance has twists and turns that leave your heart pounding and your jaw on the ground. Right from the first few pages, I was captivated and completely intrigued by the developing characters and plot.

Ripped from the life she knows, Bailey is thrust into a world filled with unknowns and danger. I loved it. I was enamored by Bailey and Kash. Their banter and chemistry was addictive. I wanted to understand the family’s secrets and what they meant for this couple. I devoured the mystery that was their lives all while falling in love with this couple.

It was everything I could want from a book.

Then it ended and I realized I have to wait for more. So until I get the next chapter in this saga, I’ll be stalking Tijan and telling everyone I know to read this book.

This book was unlike anything I have read from
Tijan or any author for that matter. The author pulled me in from the beginning and kept me the whole way. Tijan has way of developing a story and keeping you in until the very end. She knows how to tie plots and twist them together and has you asking yourself how did she do that?
Bailey is such a unique character. She has a photographic memory and is an avid hacker. She grew up with just her mom. All off sudden she is thrown into a life she with a new family, meeting her father for the first time, after a failed attempt at kidnapping. From here the story just gets better. Kash is her bodyguard and the chemistry between them is dynamic. There is so much there that you just keep turning the page to get more. Not only this there are secrets with her new family and with him that keep you drawn in, wanting more. This is a must read by Tijan. One of her best books to date!

This book blew me away! I was unable to but it down. Perfect, dazzlingly, very well written. The details the author described throughout the book was so amazing. The characters and storyline were fantastic. The ending I did not see coming Truly Amazing and appreciated the whole story. This is going to be a must read for many many readers. Thank you! This story is unexpected but in the best way possible!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this story but I just knew I had to read it! What I got was a crazy twist and turn of events that my mind is still racing from! All I know is that I know nothing! The secrets and hidden truths in the web of Bailey’s life are intriguing and thrilling! There’s a lot going on but when you’re a family of secrets what else is there to expect!

I can not wait to see what comes next I just know that this is only the beginning!

I LOVE Tijan’s writing, and the plot was really intriguing.

I truly enjoyed the story, Bailey’s character, her connection with Kash, the way she struggled in the middle of her “new” family, so why… WHY couldn’t this book be a standalone????

This kind of ruined the whole experience to me because it felt a little too long until things got interesting, and then it was over… Even the “bonus” didn’t make it feel better…

I really hope the wait won’t be too long, because I got attached to Kash and Bailey, and we’re left with so many questions…

So, yes, since I always make a point to write a fair review, this is what you should take into consideration:

If you are a fan of Tijan’s stories AND if you can handle the wait between books, THIS BOOK IS TOTALLY FOR YOU

In my case, I guess I should have waited until the last book to read the whole trilogy. I’m greedy and impatient like that!

That’s the main reason I “only” rate it with 3.75/4 stars.

The Insiders is a fast paced romance with a twist. Already having read and loved Tijan’s books in the past, as soon as I read the synopsis for The Insiders I was intrigued and excited, and it did not let me down.

From the first page the story jumps right into the action. I very much enjoyed the main character of this story, Bailey.

Bailey is a tech genius just like her father, Peter Francis. Though, she is not aware of this until she is almost kidnapped because of her connection to her father. Things spiral on from this point as the web of lies and secrets surrounding Baileys life and her newfound family, unravels.

I enjoyed getting to see into the techy side of things with Bailey and how amazing she is with computers. As someone who is a disaster with electronics, that was really cool to read about.

Like I said in the beginning of my review, The Insiders is a fast paced story. It takes off from the beginning and I was thoroughly hooked throughout the story. There is enough intrigue and mystery surrounding Baileys new family to keep you glued to the pages. The romance between Kash and Bailey was interesting in the mix of everything going on in the story, and Tijans writing keeps you engaged.

I Loved this fast paced, and engaging romance! And am highly looking forward to the next one.

I was hooked on The Insiders from the moment I started reading, it got me out of my biggest reading slump to date! The suspense, sexy tension and drama was exactly what I needed!

From the synopsis this isn’t the kind of story that I would choose to read. But I have read several other books by Tijan and liked them. I am so glad that I did read this book. I was drawn in from the first page. And throughout the story I kept trying to figure things out. I was on the edge of my seat. Bailey is thrown into a different world when she goes to live with her father she’s never met. She is there for her safety. Kash is close with her father and his family. He watches over Bailey to keep her safe. But there is so much mystery surrounding him. This is an original story with great characters.

The insiders was an enjoyable read, a lot of secrets, twists and turns and a cliffhanger that makes me want the next book now.

Tijan has been a one-click author of mine for a while, so I will preface this review by saying I generally like what she writes. The Insiders is no exception. It was such a fantastic, different book! I loved the characters and the story line is fresh and original. Note: There is a slight cliffhanger at the end since this is the first book in a new Series. If you love reading New Adult Romance, Alpha heroes, super intelligent heroines, secrets and lies, and a tense plot, you will definitely be satisfied with The Insiders! 5 Stars!

This is why I love Tijan - she always brings you something fresh, new, and SO GOOD with each book! I flew through this book - the characters, the plot twists, all of it kept me enthralled to the very end! I definitely need more and cannot wait to read the next book!!

I’m a big fan of Tijan’s books and this story was one of the best I’ve read by her so far ( I still have to read of few from her backlog catalogue and I promised myself I will this year)
I want to high five her for her amazing arc characters and Bailey is my favourite. Young and strong, thrown in a world that she didn’t knew it existed or that was part of, she has to go through all the emotions and drama of a family like hers . On top of that, she’s a nerd girl, and I loved this about her.
Kash is the perfect hero that I couldn’t love more even if I wanted, always protective and loving, always there for her.
I loved being in this new world where we met new characters and all the suspenseful moments that kept coming with each page turned.
If you haven’t read any Tijan’s books by now, read this one and you won’t be disappointed.

I loved this book. The storyline, the characters, the plot twists. I loved everything about it! I have only read a few of Tijan’s books and those that I have read have been filled with teen angst. This one was a little more mature. Bailey is forced to make some major decisions about her future in a very short amount of time following a tramatic event. She tries to make the best decision for her and her mother, but sometimes best intentions are just not enough. The events following her decision will allow her to find love and a family she never knew she had, but will she be welcomed as an insider or cast out? This book pulled me in from the first page and didn’t let go until the very last word.

Sooo many plot twists and gasp out loud moments I simply couldn’t read fast enough. I fell hard for Kash - he’s the dark, mysterious bad boy you can’t help but love. And Bailey, well I’m a sucker for a quirky, smart heroine. Together they were chemistry perfection!

I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

This is in my opinion by far Tijan's best work yet, this is and it isn't like her fallen crest series, carter reed series and her book cole all rolled into one it was addicting from the star.

Bailey is a baddy she can pretty much hack into anybody or anything and please don't even get me started on Kash (OMG) he is probably my favorite character ever.

Please if your a Tijan fan you don't want to miss this.

Another great book by TIjan! The characters are so in-depth and well written, you really get a sense of who they are- good or bad. It flows super well and is easy to read- so much in fact you don't want to put it down! Love the intense moments, never boring!

Wow. I have never read anything by Tijan but I am soooo glad that I did. When I read the synopsis for the Insiders, I knew I had to read it. This book was amazing. The romance, mystery, and the sibling relationships just made the book for me. I can’t wait to see where this trilogy goes. I need book 2 ASAP!!!

Well, another AMAZING book by Tijan but I'm not surprised I love everything she writes!!!! The Insiders grabs your attention from chapter one and you can't help but get pulled into this story. With a great lead character in Bailey, you can't help but root for her and hope she gets the family she always wanted. Oh and then there's Kash yummy!! Another strong (and when I say strong I mean sexy) male character written by Tijan. I need more Bailey, Kash, Peter, Chrissy, Ser, Cyclone, and even Matt (Hope you find what you're looking for Matt in the next book there is still hope for you) If this is the first book in this trilogy, I can't wait to read the other two. AMAZING JOB!!!!!

This book starts off fast, plunges you right in by grabbing your attention and holds it from the beginning. Not being a huge fan of "slow burns" I appreciated that.

I really liked the protagonist. Bailey was an intelligent girl and my heart ached for her during certain situations. You really become invested in her life. I also liked how this was a mix of romance and mystery. Overall, I think fans of YA romance will enjoy this read.

OMG, How awesome was this story!! This is the first traditionally published book by this author and I absolutely loved it. The characters came alive off the pages for me. I loved Bailey she was so smart, funny and spunky but yet at times so insecure and yes I have a new book boyfriend his name is Kashton ( Kash), mysterious broody hot guy, what’s not to love? There were so many plot twists, I never saw what was coming or who was behind it and why? I will be looking out for more in this series.

The one thing though that I have come to expect with Tijan books is they will be filled with angst.

This is Tijan at her finest!!!! I love her stories so much! They are over the top in the best way imaginable, the plot keeps me at the edge of my seat and the characters keep me entertained. Kash is the alpha of all alphas and Bailey is a badass in her own way. The story was sexy and powerful, the plot was highly entertaining and the characters were well rounded. The Insiders defiantly gets a 5 star review for me, thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an early copy.

I have always enjoyed reading Tijan’s books - she has a great writing style and her characters are always dynamic. The Insiders blew all her other books away! I couldn’t put it down, the mystery, the romance- this book has it all and will leaving you yearning for more.

I’ll admit it’s been forever since I’ve read a book by Tijan. I’ll also be honest in saying that I’ve never really be a fan, despite all the 5 star ratings on Goodreads. The writing just never really appealed to me.



Then I read The Insiders.



This book has a little bit of everything that I enjoy. Some drama, mystery, an intelligent heroine that I actually liked, a swoon worthy hero, and some heat! The writing itself seems much different than what I had encountered before, and definitely in a good way!

Was the drama a little over the top at times? Yeah I’ll admit it was. But then again, I have no idea what the lives of the rich and famous are like. In times like this, sometimes it’s good to get away from the real world and immerse yourself in an unfamiliar life. Speaking of drama - keep those steamy scenes coming! They were well written, steamy but nothing cringe worthy. Man, if I only had my own Kash… sigh.

I loved that Bailey was an intelligent young woman! We need role models like Bailey in literature to show young girls that ambition isn’t a dirty word, and that intelligence is wonderful. Bailey was smart, a little sassy, and so very caring - a combo that I love!

I also really enjoyed the suspense/mystery component of this book. What was Kash hiding? Why was Bailey in danger? So. Many. Questions. And now that I’ve finished, I have so many more! I can’t wait for the next instalment to be released so I can get my answers, and probably ask more questions.

I got through this book in one sitting, and it’s safe to say The Insiders was able to get me out of my reading slump!
