About the author
Chad T. Douglas was born in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in 1989. His first novel, A Pirate's Charm, came to mind when he was a junior in high school. When he started college in 2008, he entered as an Architectural Design major, leaving the program in less than two weeks and immediately becoming an English major. One year later, in love with English and writing, Douglas began work on self-publishing the first instalment of his historical fiction and fantasy trilogy. In 2010, he published the second novel in the Lore trilogy, titled East and Eight. The third instalment – The Old World – was released in 2011. The Lore series has received honours in the 2011 New York Book Festival Book Contest, the 2012 Los Angeles Book Festival Book Contest, and the 78th Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition.

I love pirate books so I knew I had to try this one. It was very enjoyable and it is one I would read again. The main characters were so fun and interesting. The plot was full of suspense and action which is something I really love in a book.

Lore: A Pirates Charm is such a fantastic story. I loved this book. I think it is the first werewolf pirate book I have read. Definitely not one to be missed. The story is about Thomas and Molly and their adventures both on sea and land. They are wonderful together, play well off each other, and have great chemistry. I really enjoyed the narrator in between chapters filling us in on werewolf and vampire history and on the history of the charatcers. I absolutley cannot wait for the next book.

This is unlike any book Ive ever read and I loved it! I love the way Molly and Tom banter with each other, and they had some great chemistry.. As thomas is always getting injured it provides Molly with lots of opportunity to see him without a shirt.. I definitely want to continue on with this series.. I can't wait to see what kind of trouble that Tom and Molly are going to get into next!!
Molly is an independant woman who is trying to find a purpose to her life.. When she ends up on the run from some mysterious people, she runs right onto Captain Thomas Crowes ship.. Thomas Crowe is a charismatic, very handsome, and a man with some secrets.and he is on a mission.. One that Molly might be able to help him with... One night Molly finds out that well werewolves are real.. and that the captain happens to be one.. Now she has been thrust in to a world fulled with the supernatural.. and as scared as she is.. she also loves it.. and molly and the captain are also falling for each other..

I love pirates and I love Lore so this was pretty much a slam dunk read for me. The characters were intriguing and realistic, the historical aspect was beautifully done and the action and adventure that was in this book wasn't disappointing at all. This series is a new must read for me and I look forward to reading others in this series.
