Pickerton's Jiggle

This children's book I read to my 4 year old child.

We thoroughly enjoyed this book, how it rhymed was a fun and quick way to read and it kept my child engaged with the story. The book was the perfect length for the attention span of a child around that age.

My child was captivated with the illustrations accompanying the book, they were beautiful and very detailed. We went back over the book again after finishing reading and talked together about Pickerton's day. How he got scrubbed in the bath, and him getting dirty. My child thought Pickerton was a silly little pig doing his jiggle, he laughed many times throughout the book.

This is definitely a story we will use at bedtime again. It was really suited to his age group. Having a child's kindle fire he was able to share my account also and is able to view the book and swipe through pages on his own.
Thankyou for giving us access to such a beautiful children's book.

Myself and my 4 year old son loved Pickerton' Jiggle.
The rhyming was brilliant and the illustrations were lovely. It is a quick read which is perfect for the age of child that it is aimed at. It kept my son engaged all the way through and he asked many questions about it which showed me he was enjoying it and understanding the story.

Thank you to NetGalley and Riya Aarini for my ARC.

This is a children's book I read to my three kids. The message in this book was so good, and I love it. I found this message one of learning to move on for the bad things that happen. I have been working with my son that has autism to learn to move on for change or something not great that happens, and this book is great to help him see the pig got dirty and he was able to keep going. I am trying to working to reading more books to my kids, and I love finding great books like this one for them. They enjoyed it to. The pictures was so cute and kept the kids looking and wanting more. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher or author (Riya Aarini) via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review about how I feel about this book, and I want to send a big Thank you to them for that. This book is schedule to be release on February 20-2021.

Oh this book was so refreshing! It had it all, great writing, rhyming and the best pictures!
I loved it and so did the girls, we explored this one together and boy, did they have fun with it!
The rhyming really was excellent and they were captivated from start to finish, no time for questions until the very end, eager to get to through it to see what happens!

The message in this book was fab and one all kids need to learn about just getting on with no matter what and especially when bad things are going on, do something that puts a smile on your face and I'm happy to say it's one we will be reading again and again, it has made the shelf and a lesson we can refer back to again and again!

The pictures in this book are great and I loved them and so did the kids, they couldn't wait to see what happened next and they wanted a re-read.

I want to thank Netgalley, the publishers and that author, Riya Aarini for this great read, and I look forward to buying this in the new year when it's released, roll on Feb 2021!

How stinking cute is this book! I enjoyed reading this to my 6 and 4 year old and the absolutely loved it! This easy to follow rhyming book follows Pickerton the pig as he goes about his day. This little pig who "dared not get dirty" accidentally jumped into a mud puddle and could have easily ruined his day if he let it bother him too much. But instead, he literally shook it off with a jiggle. I thought this book was a super great example for my kids that although they can be angry and upset, they don't have to let something ruin their day. Aside from the awesome message, this book had great illustrations and was super fun to read. I would highly recommend this book to parents of little kids It would make a great addition to any children's library.

I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free copy.
