Description

Don’t settle for an unhappy life! Learn to recognize the symptoms of trauma. Rape, assault, combat, natural disaster, death of a loved one, or an accident or illness have lasting effects if unaddressed and unresolved. You can free yourself from the grip of these life events. There is hope!

The Trauma Map reconnects you to your true self— the person you lost when traumatic experiences were left buried. Through five simple steps, Dr. Karol Darsa will show you how to make peace with your past and find the internal quietness that we all desire.

During Dr. Karol Darsa’s 20-plus years of therapeutic clinical practice, she developed a finely attuned, body-based method to heal and reconnect the mind and body. You will feel understood and safe throughout the gentle process taught in The Trauma Map.

Dr. Darsa’s deep understanding of trauma healing was developed at her acclaimed treatment center, Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Center. Her groundbreaking method is now directly available to you through this healing toolbox lovingly offered in The Trauma Map: Five Steps to Reconnect With Yourself.

About Karol Darsa

Dr. Karol Darsa is a licensed psychologist and the founder and executive director of Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment Center, which she established in Los Angeles in 2014. This one-of-a-kind treatment center integrates all evidenced-based cutting edge trauma treatment modalities under one roof. A survivor of childhood trauma, she understands the challenges and joys of the journey of healing.

Dr. Darsa co-created the Invisible War Recovery Program, an intensive trauma treatment program for veterans suffering from military sexual trauma. The producers sought out Dr. Darsa to create this special program for the featured veterans due to her ex- tensive experience and proven methods of working with trauma. The program was inspired by the Academy Award-nominated documentary “The Invisible War.”

She has been interviewed by Katie Couric, Susan Ortolano, and Lisa Tahir, and was featured on the Voice of America. She lectures about trauma treatment at various universities such as the University of Southern California, UCLA and Cal Lutheran. She also speaks at treatment centers and conferences.

Dr. Darsa began her career in 1998 as a foster care social worker. She studied evidence-based trauma treatment techniques and established herself as a trauma expert.
