Helpful and inspiring now more than ever, a much needed meditation in a busy and uncertain world. Thank you Net Galley for the advance reader copy in exchange for my honest review.
Lot of great suggestions in this book, with daily exercises and weekend words of wisdom. This book offers daily exercises into loving yourself, affirming yourself etc. It offers a weekly homeopathic remedy with explanation of what to do, but can be easily skipped if you aren't into that. This book is for those who really want to journey into themselves and heal their emotional wounds.
The author has created a series of helpful sessions where one takes a high dose of a homeopathic remedy and follows her recommended meditations and journaling activities. I am familiar with homeopathic remedies but I’ve never heard of the high dosage is that she is recommending. I found the inner work suggestions very helpful but I would encourage people to work with a homeopathic practitioner while working through this program. We all definitely could use more self-love in our lives, and this book is a good start towards that.
Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
There are times where I've read self-help book or a journal and had to go back and re-read it because I was confused. Not in this case! Absolutely love how easy it is to follow!
This is a great, relatively quick read. Often our emotional wellbeing is overlooked and I particularly found Elke's insight in this area thought provoking and ultimately helpful. This is something you can dip in and out of once you're read it through. The structure makes sense as you work through it and the daily steps are repeated throughout the corresponding week. It may sound like there's a lot of work, and there is but it's internal and the process is explained simply. My only gripe, is the format/layout of the steps and sometimes the common name for the homeopathy remedies is mentioned often it's not. I'm also not sure how long you're meant to take the dose, presumably for one week. Despite this, I'd highly recommend this book, I haven't seen anything like it.
