This book kept me intrigued the whole time. I am not an avid reader but was really engrossed in the story. It has romance and suspense and left me in tears in the end (and NOT because the guy gets the girl!). You have to read it to know what I mean. And also... I thought I was the only one who uses the phrase "Good gravy!".... turns out, I'm not! I love to hear characters speak like I do in the south!

Being left at the alter is a devastating experience for Casey King and she tries to get her life on track by going to work for Matt Wilson. But Casey is no ordinary woman and as she reaches the age of twenty-four, special abilities take control of her. She and Matt will have to work together to survive the conflicts that come their way.
The world that Kelley Griffin has built is very intricate and Casey has her own place as a mind-reader in it. As she slowly grows into her powers, she realizes that she has certain responsibilities with certain people relying on her. There are also enemies who would use her power for their selfish desires. Learning to navigate this world is not easy but she has no choice but to do so in order to protect herself and the people around her. Overall, this is an amazing book with beautifully crafted characters. I highly recommend it.

Gosh, this was some read. Talk about non stop action. I'm fairly new to this author, and this genre if I'm honest but I'm so glad I did. I loved Caseys personality and her relationship with those close to her. Matt was a tough nut to crack but his reasons for what he does makes him more likable. Fascinating story, with non stop thrills...can't wait to read more

An interesting premise for a book, this starts off slow but eventually it starts to make sense. The characters are well-developed and the plot line was certainly different. I will probably read the next book in this series as I'm hoping for more romance. I received an e-book from NetGalley in return for an unbiased review.

Outstanding read. When Casey is told she was going to work for Matt she’s furious.. he’s rude,arrogant beyond belief. He’s also one handsome man who has a secret. Matt has a quota to meet, but will Casey be part of that quota.

Casey King Series Book 1. by Kelley Griffin
A very well written book.
A fast moving story once it starts to flow full of intrigue,a little stuttering of romance along the way.
Not my usual genre but very good once I got into it so stick with it. It's a really enjoyable read.
However I personally would have liked more romance but that is just personal taste still an excellent read.
