Description

Violet Savoie has a plan. A dream, rather. To open her own tattoo shop, which caters to supernaturals in need of permanent charms. As a powerful Seer, she has the potent magic to cast every kind of spell. Except the kind to give werewolves control over their beastly side. And her business partner Nico needs help in the worst kind of way.

Nico Cruz has a secret. A motive, rather. To subtly stalk and seduce Violet until she finally recognizes they are fated to be together. Ever since their heated encounter in Austin on New Year’s Eve two years earlier, he’s been dying to get his hands—and his tongue—back on her body. He knows a woman like Violet can’t be courted in the usual way. Luckily, Nico has no scruples about misbehaving to get what he wants.

But when his former pack roams into town, and an old friend is far too interested in Violet, his focus shifts to the threat venturing into his territory. Nico may come across as the quiet, broody one, but the intruders are about to regret stepping foot in New Orleans. And when Violet goes missing, no charm or spell can keep Nico’s wolf at bay.

Juliette did it again!!! I’m completely obsessed with the Stay A Spell series and I’m already craving for her next book. Witches Get Stitches is packed full of sexy tattooed werewolves & badass witches that keep you hooked on every page! I was 100% here for all the intense sexual tension between Violet & Nico. Plus them serenading to each other on stage was the icing on the cake! I’m parched just thinking about it. Not only was this book wickedly passionate, but the underling message of acceptance was so relatable to what the world needs more of & such a great bonus to this read. Plus the sisterly bonds in this series if my favorite aspect, what I would give to be invited to Sunday dinner! If you’re looking for an uplifting, hysterical, sexy paranormal romance, than please read this series! I promise you won’t be disappointed.

First and Foremost I would like to thank Juliette Cross and NetGalley for allowing access to the eARC prior to the publication date of July 20th, 2021. Witches Get Stitches is the the third installment of the stay a spell series following the six Savoie sisters and witches of New Orleans. In particular, Witches Get Stitches follows Violet Savoie who we have come to know and love as the most brutally forthright, sarcastic sister with the mouth of a sailor who also just so happens to be a very powerful seer. We get to see Violet’s dream of opening Empress Ink unfold, the main reason Violet responded so harshly to Nico’s arrival in Wolf Gone Wild, as well as Nico’s long haul game in pursuing Violet and just how far they are willing to go for one another. It is without a doubt that this series continues to get better and better. I loved every aspect of this book. The romance, the writing, the start of a revolution for the unjust treatment of one particular species in the SUP community as well as the very funny, very sarcastic nature of the MC’s. I would definitely classify this book as a page turner I don’t think I have read a book this fast in several months! Stay a Spell series has quickly become one of my favorite paranormal romance series and I look forward to the rest of the installments as they are released. Five out of five stars!

I spent my Sunday in the supernatural world of the Savoie sisters. Violet Savoie to be exact. From the get-go Violet comes at you full force. She's kick-ass and sexy. Smart-mouthed and quick-witted. You are instantly drawn to her and her overall presence. And then there's Nico Cruz. "Ever heard that phrase when time stood still? I'd never felt it myself, until that moment. --Was he the one?" Nico is playing the long game. He knows he has to. For the majority of Witches get Stitches we get to indulge in a deliciously edible slow burn. Romance aside, the backstory and subplot make me hungry for more. I am excited for what's to come and love how the Stay A Spell world is expanding and moving. I would be amiss not to mention the rest of the Savoie sisters and their loves. We get to have snippets and a few revelations from the couples previously showcased in the series and a massive, I feel, reveal of what's to come in the future. Cross has set this up to possibly become a very long-running series if she chooses. Especially with the addition of a few interesting new characters. There is one scene in particular that involves a boat that has me envisioning JJ and John B from the Netflix show Outer Banks. Google images you won't be sorry ((smile)) Magic, mystery, and mayhem. It's all soooo good! I can't wait for the release! ~Tanja P.S. When do we get Jules and Ruben??? I am dying over here!!!

Thank you Netgalley for this eARC in exchange for an honest review. Potential minor spoilers for the Stay a Spell series, including the two previous books - Wolf Gone Wild and Don't Hex and Drive. I absolutely loved Witches Get Stitches! I loved getting to know Violet and Nico better as well as checking in with the rest of the family. Each book in Stay A Spell always gets me so excited to read the next one! I love how much we get to know the sisters and their potential love interests - the characters are all so clear even when they're not the main character in that book. I have such a thing for Nico now!! He was so sweet and hot and just everything about him was amazing. I loved his love of Violet and the way they grew together. I also really appreciated some of the more political aspects that were raised in the unfair treatment of werewolves by other supernaturals, which we were introduced to in Wolf Gone Wild. I like the direction that's going and that we will hopefully get more of that storyline and to see how things are going in the next books. Another really fun read and I can't wait for the next one!

Witches Get Stitches “I shrugged a shoulder, unable to tell her that I couldn’t help but smile when she said she was going to concur the world because one, I believed her and two... two... I wanted Violet Savoie with every leaden beat of my besotted heart.” Gah! The pining. Mutual pining and friends to lovers WIN. I feel like every book in the Savoie sisters series is absolute magic. The world building, the steam, the family relationships, the steam, the outside conflict, the steam, the little hints and teases of future stories to come... oh and did I mention the steam? These supernaturals. It’s emotional and physical fire! This is Violet’s story. I honestly did not know how I would feel about her, but like all the sisters before her, her heart is so sweet and she longs to make the world better, even with her gruff take no crap exterior. The undertone of this book matches the undertone of the broken world we are living in and I loved that Juliette Cross broached a subject such as stigma of a people group in a way that makes the reader really think. Nico is... Hero perfection. He is patient and sweet and swoony while waiting and then dominant and possessive (in a werewolf way, not an abusive way) and all in once Violet finally decides to give in to her feelings. They have absolute care and love for one another. Their relationship truly is a friends to more and the love and trust they have for one another is palpable. “I swallowed the lump in my throat at the realization that I was inhaling and gulping deep breaths of my mates magic. It was, in a word, magnificent. My mate.” The supernatural world building is fantastic, and I love that with each book in the series we learn a little bit more... yet still yearn for more. It’s creative and engaging and I am so ready for a grim romance. Maybe Livvy? Possibly Clara and grim Henry? Let’s have it, please!💙 Received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book was delicious. Much as you would expect from the rest of the series this one was delightfully funny, very steamy and characters you can’t help but love. Violet and Nico meet one night at a party and their chia try is explosive. But Violet is a Seer and knows how to find her soul mate and doesn’t think Nico is it so she runs away. Years later, Nico hasn’t forgot about Violet and goes to find her and seduce her anyway he can, even if he has to play the long game and become her friend. If you love lots of sexual tension and a hero pinning after his heroine you will love this book. I love Violet and her no bullshit attitude. She is a woman who can take care of herself and lets everyone know (even if she secretly loves being protected by her big strong wolfie). I love Nico as a hero. He is definitely alpha being a wolf and all but he is also the sweetest cinnamon roll. Absolutely loved this one and can’t wait for the next one.

This was such a fun and delightful book! I loved that it was set in New Orleans! Again another book making me want to go there! Violet isn’t a relationship gal, but she is sassy and spunky and awesome! I absolutely loved her! Even though she friend-zones Nico who she’s ridiculously attracted to. Nico is super patient and very territorial and swoon worthy 😍 He was just so loveable, and so sweet. You kinda wanted to knock Violet over the head to get with the program haha. Their chemistry was 🔥 and they definitely brought the heat and steam! I loved the underlying detail of prejudice in their community and them trying to fix it. All the side characters were fun and it definitely showed who’s going to be in future books! (Very excited 😆) I laughed and smiled the whole way through and I’m definitely going to be picking up more books by Juliette! 4.5 stars from me! This early copy was given to me in exchange for an honest review by netgalley.

I absolutely loved this book! Violet was such a firecracker, smart mouth and I loved her! Nico was such a great character too, he was a lot more calm than I expected him to be, not when it came to his wolf but def personality wise. He was such a romantic and sweet. I specifically loved how he watched Violet from far and fell in love with her at first sight. Their connection was passionate but also relatable. This book's comedy was through the roof, and I cannot wait to see what these sisters strive to accomplish in the next books. I also have to mention that the story line in this book is amazing, and cannot wait to see the growth of these group of friends. 100 percent recommend it! And for those who have not read first and second book! Dont sit on this series, it will blow your mind.

4.5 Stars - Paranormal Romance **eARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.** I was so excited to dive into book 3 of this series. The Stay a Spell series has become one of my favorites Thai year! I’m this book we follow Violet Savoie who is a Seer in the Savoie family. We have seen her pop up in the first two book in the series and got glimpses of her but I’m so excited for her book! Nico Cruz is a werewolf and cousin to Matteo who had his own story in book one of the series. He has a motive to make sure Violet realizes they are meant to be together! I love a pining hero! Nico is such a perfect hero. He is kind and loving and patient. Violet is a spit fire and I love her. I related to her so much because she always shares what’s on her mind! When Nico’s old pack strolls into New Orleans, troubles comes along with them. I loved this book a lot! I enjoyed the read and being back into this world!! Juliette Cross keeps impressing me with every book in this series!!

5 stars I LOVED this book! I have read the first two books in the Stay a Spell series (Wolf Gone Wild, Don't Hex and Drive) and this third installment did not disappoint. Nico and Violet are just the best. I love that each of the Savoie sisters are so very different, and yet they are clearly sisters from the way they interact with the world around them. This is not your stereotypical alpha-male story (though that definitely plays a big role!). There is humor, a compelling story, and definitely some steamy moments that actually add to the story. Plus, it all takes place in the supernatural community of New Orleans. Juliette Cross does a great job of transporting the readers into the world of the Savoie sisters. Even the side characters are so diverse! And now I really want to visit New Orleans just to see if I can find any little bits of magic 🙂 I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves romance, contemporary fiction, supernatural stories, or all of the above!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First, this is the very best NetGally review experience I’ve had so far. I’m so grateful to get the chance to give this book an honest review! I think it’s no secret so far that I’m head over heels in love with this series. Witches Get Stitches, which comes out July 20th, is the latest installment of the romantic adventures of the witchy Savoie sisters. Nico is a werewolf who has wanted Violet from the first time he saw her. Sassy, outspoken, tough Violet always wanted him too, but feels like they can’t be together because of a difficult tarot card reading. However, they want each other. Like, they WANT EACH OTHER. Bad. Real bad. The level of chemistry here is off the charts hot, and it’s surrounded by the friends and family light-hearted vibe that is the hallmark of this series so far. If you can make it through the longing of this friends-to-lovers romance, you’ll begin to appreciate that the whole setup is a clever twist on a miscommunication trope that honestly worked for me. Juliette Cross is such a lovely author, and once again, she’s woven a story that is clever, funny, sweet, sexy, and altogether a great read. I also still just appreciate the backdrop of the story. While I call Colorado home, my family has roots in southern Louisiana, so it’s always a delight to see Metairie and Lafayette casually name-dropped and think that I, too, could belong just a little bit to the Savoie sisters 😉 You’ll like this book if you like True Blood, vampire books, werewolf books, and light and fluffy reads with sexy heroes and sassy heroines! Spice: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 sexy. Just flat out sexy. HEA status: 🚢 I ship!

Book three in the Stay A Spell series stars Nico the werewolf and Violet, a powerful Seer and witch. Two years earlier Nico and Violet had a very HOT encounter and now Nico is back in town determined to have Violet for his in more than one passionate encounter. Violet however has plans of her own that do not include steamy liaisons with Nico, no matter how good he is with his tongue. They work together as business partners to bring Violet's dream to life, a tattoo shop that caters to other Supernaturals offering charmed tattoos to help them navigate the difficult side effects of being a vampire or werewolf. While things heat up between Nico and Violet danger lurks in the town when a dangerous pack of werewolves keeps seeking Violet out until she eventually goes missing. Nico will risk it all to get her back, even if he unleashes his wolf to it's full, uncontrolled power. I ADORED this book! It is full of all the things I love about this series: SWOONY romance, five alarm steam, the BEST Alphamellow heroes (Nico is so soft and sweet but FIERCELY alpha for Violet), the wonderful Savoie family, GREAT comedy and laugh out loud dialogue, and a perfect Happily Ever After. This book may be my new favorite in the series, I loved this couple, I loved seeing more of Evie and Mateo, I loved the potential for the future couple (I need that Grim romance!) We also have some scenes with Fred a near zombie pet chicken, poetry writing werewolves, and HILARIOUS and highly inappropriate limericks. This book was fabulous and I loved it!

*An eARC of this book was provided to me by NetGalley and the Author in exchange for an honest review.* Back into the Stay a Spell series I go. And oh, it was over too soon. I have been anticipating this book for months and months! I think we all have. I loved the glimpses of Violet and Nico that I got in previous books and I knew I would love them so much when I got them in my hands. Violet is a high-energy seer in the Savoie clan and she has big plans to help werewolves be more in control. Her sisters have studiously stayed away from werewolves in the past, but her sister's boyfriend, Mateo really showed them a different side to werewolves and what it could be like if they had more control. Nico has his own goals. well, one goal. To get Violet to realize they are meant to be together. He and his wolf are in a agreement about that and about how they will seduce, cajole, and beg to get her attention in anyway possible. Whether that is by charming her, or becoming her business partner so he can always be around her. Violet may have her hang ups about being with Nico, but that will be put to the test over and over until she gives in to the attraction that is driving them both. And when some of Nico's old pack comes to town to stir up trouble, they will need to work together to figure out what they want and keep their town from being prey to these troublemakers. I had a great time reading this book. I knew Juliette was going to bring it with this romance and that's what she did. I enjoyed all the family times and lovely moments (and hot ones!() between Nico and Violet. I cannot wait for the next Stay a Spell novel! 4.5 stars from me!

These books are amazing. If you’re not reading them, I do not know what you’re doing. This book follows Violet and Nico and their journey. I love that every book is about a different sibling and I am still anxiously awaiting the book about Jules!!! Thank you to Netgalley and Juliette Cross for this ARC ebook!

If I had to describe this book in one word it would be “Hot.” I have absolutely loved the Stay A Spell series so far and I cannot wait to get my hands on the remaining books in this series. Violet and Nico’s chemistry is scorching hot from the very first page to the last. I wasn’t quite sure of Nico in when we first met him in previous books, but he just made me a pile of mush. He is so gone for Violet, and the way he cares for her just makes me feel gooey inside. I love the familial love that these six sisters have. Their dynamic is the foundation on which makes these books so magical.

Another fabulous book by Juliette Cross!! All of her books are a must read for me and this book deserves all the stars! I love the Savoie sisters so much and Violet and Nico’s story was exceptional! I can’t wait for more books in this series!

This is my first experience with Juliette Cross and I am now hooked. I will promptly be reading the books previous to this book. I loved and enjoyed Violet and Nico. I loved the sexual tension and banter between these two. I appreciate that the waiting period for when they finally realized their feelings weren't too long I was interested in the wolf, witches, grime community. The whole aspect of a supernatural community is genius. This certainly made the storyline interesting I just loved it and I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series

I receive an ARC of WGS from NetGalley and devoured it in a day. I’m a huge fan of the series and this book did not disappoint. Like the first 2 books, the chemistry in this book was explosive. Nico and Violet set the pages on fire. I love how Juliette deals with the werewolf prejudice in this book and how Violet desires to help rectify the situation. This book is definitely a re-read for me.

Witches Get Stitches is the third book in the Stay A Spell series following the Savoie sisters in New Orleans. Each book so far has had an element of mystery or suspense along with romance. I have been dying for this book since it was announced, and it did not disappoint. I loved Violet and Nico so much. This book had the perfect amount of pining, tension, and steam. Juliette Cross does a fantastic job of writing protective men and matching them with strong and independent female characters, who really don't need protecting. This story was an excellent execution of the friends to lovers trope. I also loved how Cross addresses real world issues such as prejudice and discrimination in her paranormal world. The sisters and their friends are actively trying to change themselves and the world around them for the better. The characters in this world are diverse and intriguing. There is not one character that I don't want to know more about. Cross drops little tidbits of characters interactions with each other that have you craving the next sister's story. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a paranormal romance with themes of close family, friends to lovers, slow burn, and an element of suspense.

This has honestly been on my TBR list for so so long, and I'm so pleased it's finally out! I'm really loving this series and how each sister has their own unique character. The stories are so well thought out, and not similar at all. Each book is a completely new journey and I love it! Nico and Violet's chemistry was so great and I loved how the relationship didn't develop 'typically', really creating a hilarious bond with the couple, who totally knew each other from the inside out. Violet and Nico's conversations were brilliant, and I really enjoyed the sass they brought out within each other. I really love how Juliette hints at the next couple's book, giving little peaks at what's to come. It definitely made me so excited to read the book for Violet and curious as to how it played out. Speaking of this... I'm so sooo excited to read Clara's book. It sounds like it'll be adorably hilarious! Her knitting is adorable!

I am so in love with the Savoie Sisters and their charming world. Juliette Cross has crafted a world where the paranormal exist in a world much like our own. Cross' tone is light and fun which creates a beautiful paranormal world that feels realistic and natural. Cross' writing is well paced, fun and funny, accessible and very engaging. She has a way of crafting characters that feel true and compelling, I wish I was friends with each and every one of them. Violet-the heroine, is a witch who is a seer. Nico, the hero, is a werewolf and has been in love with Violet since the moment they met a few years ago. Violet has been fighting her feelings for Nico because she is scared that she and Nico will cause each other true heart break. Their love story is absolutely charming. They both have entered into a partnership in order for Violet to open her own tattoo parlor, which is her dream. I love that Nico is patient and persistent, he knows what he wants and he will wait for Violet because she is his fated mate. Watching Violet's jealousy grow as she starts to better understand her feelings, and her visions of the future, is so much fun. Once she realizes that her readings for herself have been misinterpreted, I loved watching her become a bit unsure and cautious to how she approaches and responds to Nico. Violet and Nico are such a great match, I loved how they supported each other and where aware of the other. I love that they learn how to communicate with each other and trust each other. I love that they both are aware that each person is independent and strong on their own but that together they are a force to recon with and can bring out the best in the other. I love that Violet has such a pure and kind heart that her love for Nico helps her realize how she wants to right the wrongs of her ancestors have done to the werewolves. I would highly recommend this novel and its companions. Juliette Cross has crafted a series that I absolutely love and am anticipating the future novels in this world. This paranormal romance is so entertaining and has such a delightful tone that is light, amusing and realistic. Definitely check these books out!

I am so in love with the Savoie sisters! Each of them are special in their own unique way making their stories far removed from anything resembling a cookie cutter romance. Violet is a bit of the wild child with her tats and her talent to incorporate designing and inking tattoos with her magic. I loved the way she realized exactly how her tattoos were going to be used and couldn’t wait to see it all unfold. She was a slow mover when it came to Nico and I wanted to force her to see what was right in front of her. Her transition to that point was torturous for me almost as much as it was for Nico! And oh my gosh, Nico!! Could there be a more dedicated hero? He knew when he saw her who and what she was but her own struggles had him on hold for years. The fact that he never wavered in his steadfastness to wait for her had me falling crazily in love with him. He also had all those wonderful alpha male tendencies that hook and reel me in every time. Loved him so hard! While this deals with more relationship dilemma than outside drama, the angst level remains relatively low. There were moments when things get ramped up some and I couldn’t help but respond to the situation when Nico lost or was close to losing control. As a couple, they set a new standard for hot and steamy. I’m sure at one point I could see smoke coming from my kindle. They were fire together! More is coming and I’m all in as we were given what I’m sure were glimpses of the initial set up for future books. Cannot wait!

So awesome! The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: 💋💋💋💋💋 Heat/Steam: ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Story/Plot: 📙📕📗📙📘 World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌏🌎 Character development: 👨🏻👱🏻‍♀️🧔🏻👩🏻👱🏼‍♂️ The heroine: Violet Savoie - she is a powerful Seer and an apprentice tattoo artist who wants to open her own shop. She also has some other abilities like telekinesis. She is not a relationship kind of girl but still has been searching for “the one” The Hero(es): Nico Cruz - he is a werewolf from the Blood Moon pack. He left his pack after they did some shady stuff. When he meets Violet in his hometown, he has an interlude with her and immediately knows she is his mate. The Story: Violet doesn’t believe Nico is “the one” and her attraction to him scares her so she runs home to New Orleans after their first meeting. However, Nico follows her not long after and since he is her brother-in-law’s brother, he is in her life. Nico helps Violet out with her tattoo shop and becomes her partner and continually fights her growing feelings for him and keeps Nico in the “Friend-zone”. I really loved the back stories in this book, like how a witch originally cursed the a witch hunter so that every male descendant will have the werewolf curse and how even the supernatural community had prejudice against werewolves because of that. None would help them even though they didn’t deserve to be cursed because of something a distant relative did. I liked how Violet was one of the few that sees that and wants to help the werewolves (not just Nico) to be in control of their wolf side so they don’t accidentally shift and hurt those they love. This was the first book in the series I have read and it definitely CAN be read as a stand-alone, I don’t feel that I missed anything by not reading the first two books. However, after reading this book and liking it so much, I definitely want to read the first two books and plan to read the rest of the series. I can tell some of the romances in the next few books started showing themselves in this book. The supporting characters were awesome and I love how some are darker characters (Grims, Vampires, Wolves, and the Witches are lighter more whimsical characters). This book had everything you could want in a paranormal romance, it had creative characters, two characters pining for each other, romance, plenty of steam, some suspense, magic, a great story and more. I can’t wait for the books where the Grim’s are the love interest. I need to know more about their dark powers. I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

I've loved this series so far and this is my favorite one yet! I wasn't quite sure what to think of Nico, but it turns out I absolutely loved him. Nico was just so gone for Violet I could hardly stand it, I loved him so much. He was so sweet and soft but a total alpha when it counted. Combined with his good looks and musical abilities, I don't know how Violet resisted for so long! I loved how it discussed the prejudice against werewolves that was evident from the first book in the series, and how everyone banded together at the end. It set up beautifully the next book(s) in the series and I can't wait to keep reading!

Nico was a broody, soulful, musically gifted werewolf it’s an edge of danger. Violet, the bohemian, very sassy, tattoo artist witch. Leave it to Juliette to make their relationship one heck of a sloooow burn! *Fans self* This story was rich. Not just on the family front with the Savoie sisters (who I’d love to be friends with!) but in general with the supernatural community. Discrimination was tackled. Maybe that’s odd to mention about a paranormal romance, but the issue was a big chunk of the book and worth noting. “It was ridiculous that in the 21st century, they were still clinging to old prejudices that not only spread hatred, but also danger and violence. The only way to heal old wounds was through mercy and kindness. And one thimble full of fucking compassion.” This story was a little heavier than the second, but just as good as it’s predecessors. The book still contained the side of humor I’ve come to love from Cross as well as plenty of smexy! (Even when it wasn’t always about Nico and Violet because Alpha still steals page time… ;) I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book from Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It’s no secret that I love the Stay a Spell series by @juliettecrossauthor so I was thrilled when I was approved to read an ARC of book three through NetGalley. Witches get Stitches focuses on Violet Savoie, one of the Savoie sisters and a witch who specialises as a seer, and Nico Cruz, werewolf and musician. We’ve met both of these characters before in Don’t hex and Drive, and the start of Witches get Stitches helps us understand the reason behind the tension that has always been evident between this pair. Violet and Nico’s story is a slow burn friends to lovers romance but don’t let that fool you into thinking their relationship isn’t as full of tension and spice as the first two in this series. While there was miscommunication standing between Violet and Nico, making me want to shake them both at times, I feel like we were kept waiting just the right amount of time. I loved the fact that we learnt more about the other side to werewolf life in this book. We meet a group of them and see how their presence effects Nico and Mateo. Speaking of Mateo he, Evie, Isadora, and Devraj are all back for a few scenes. We also see more of Clara and Livvy and it looks like their books will both feature a Grim love interest. Speaking of Grim’s we find out a few more things about their gifts in this book although there’s still plenty of mystery surrounding them. Witches get Stitches is available on 20th July! 5/5 🌟 from me and I’m already looking forward to more from the series!

Juliette Cross has done it again. There aren't enough words to describe how much I have enjoyed this series. I can't even do it justice with this review. Cross could write about every Savoie sister, their cousins, and all the Supernaturals throughout Louisiana and I would read it. I knew when Nico and Violet's story came out it would be a burner, and I was NOT disappointed. Violet is one of the strongest witches of her kind, all the Savoies are strong witches, and their powers are far reaching. Nico and Violet decide to open a tattoo parlor together and Violet is using her powers to spell and enchant tattoos for various reasons. Enhancing powers, suppressing Devraj's hunger, etc. Her goal is to help Nico with his wolf, but when his old pack from Austin shows up in New Orleans demanding her tattoo things start to escalate personally and professionally for Violet and Nico. Nico's wolf hungers for Violet as much as he does and Violet is ready to play. When Violet goes missing on opening night of their shop, Nico's Wolf, Alpha-Mateo's Wolf and the Reapers head out to save one of New Orleans favorite witches. If you haven't indulged in the Stay A Spell series, you're missing a treat. Grab an Old-Fashioned, sip slow, and read with ease and enjoy all things hot and supernatural.

Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross is the 3rd book in her fantastic Stay a Spell series. I loved the first two books in this series, and loved this one too. Juliette Cross always gives us wonderful fun steamy romances, with a supernatural element. Witches Get Stitches focuses on Violet, who is one of the Savoie sisters, with Violet being a very powerful witch and seer. Violet is determined to open her own tattoo parlor for supernaturals, and she has the potent magic to cast spells. Two years ago in Texas, Violent met Nico Cruz, a werewolf and they had a very passionate encounter, but then she left to go back home to New Orleans. Nico could not get Violet out of his mind, and decides to find her, and eventually he becomes her partner at the Tattoo parlor, as they become best friends. Nico wants to win her over and become his lover, but Violet (erroneously reading her tarot cards that they don’t match) just wants to be friends. All Violet’s family and friends can see how Nico cares strongly about her, except Violet. But soon that will change and their relationship turns into a wild steamy swoony romance, with their chemistry off the wall; and Nico’s wolf wants him to bond with her. One night at the bar, Nico spots one of his old pack, and knew there was going to be trouble. Nico also started to become jealous of all the men flirting with Violet, but soon she will realize that Nico is the love of her life, and the bond between them forms. Violet is determined to create a special tattoo spell that will give werewolves the ability to control their beast, and keep their calm. He asks his friends to keep an eye out for Violet and her sisters, as he worries why the pack was here. When Violet gets kidnapped, Nico knows his ex-pack wants the charmed tattoo, but little does he know that Violet is a very powerful witch, who can handle herself. What follows is a fun, romantic, sexy and exciting story that had a bit of mystery, with a fantastic group of characters that Juliette always seems to give us. I loved seeing all the sisters, as well as Mateo and Evie; Isadora and Devraj, and other possible mates for the rest of the girls. I look forward to learning more about the Grim, and what they can do. Witches Get Stitches was a fun, magical and sexy romance in an amazing world with witches, werewolves, vampires and grims; not to mention written so very well by Juliette Cross. If you enjoy a fun romance, exciting action, great secondary characters, and a couple that has great chemistry; you need to read this book. I look forward to read the remaining Savoie sisters' stories.

If you're looking for a fun, quirky and steamy paranormal read, Witches Get Stitches has got you covered. The third book in the Stay a Spell series (following Wolf Gone Wild and Don't Hex and Drive) is a delightfully easy read that will give you plenty of warm-fuzzy feelings by the end. Witches Get Stitches follows Violet, one of the Savoie sisters, who's starting her own tattoo parlour, with the goal of developing specific tattoo charms for members of the supernatural community. Her (not-so-)silent partner in this venture is Nico Cruz, a werewolf who got under her skin one New Year's Ever two years earlier. And despite being squarely put in the friends-zone, Nico isn't about to give up on his attraction to Violet yet - not that his inner wolf would let him. Nico needs Violet's help to develop a charm to help him control his inner wolf, and when his former pack turn up in New Orleans asking about Violet, he needs that control even more. It's no secret how much I adore the Stay a Spell series (especially since I've been posting about it every other week for the last few weeks!) - and Witches Get Stitches was no exception. Violet is a very different character to her sisters Evie and Isadora, who we've met in previous books. She's very impulsive, brash and out there, but just like her sisters, she's devoted to her family and she's determined to make sure her new business flourishes. She's also relatively insecure about her relationships thanks to a tarot reading about her future many years in the past. This insecurity is the part of Violet that we see grow and develop into something more as she begins to trust her instincts more and to see beyond what she thought was a simple reading. Nico is a character we've met in previous books that I was not always sold on, but boy am I on Team Nico now. We finally get to find out why Nico and Violet have been glaring daggers at each other for two books - they had a one-night stand one NYE, and even though Violet left straight afterwards, Nico's been harbouring one giant-size crush on her ever since. He's also trying to manage his inner wolf - a witch's curse put on werewolves centuries ago - and it's getting harder and harder to do so. He needs Violet's help to create a tattoo charm that will help him find some inner peace. I love Violet and Nico's relationship - they have a past that's complicated by both their actions and their perceived ideas of what's right for them. They've also spent plenty of time hiding it from their friends and family. In Witches Get Stitches they need to find a way to balance their friendship, business relationship and then their romantic relationship, and it's just glorious. As always, I adore the setting of New Orleans - it's just so atmospheric - as well as all the side characters who've popped in and out of the previous books. I cannot wait until we get books featuring the Grims, who turn up quite a bit in this one, and have me so intrigued it's not even funny. As always, Juliette Cross has brought charm, humour and fun to the paranormal romance genre and I can't wait for the next installment.

Witches get Stitches is another great addition to the Stay a Spell series. Violet and Nico are vibrant characters who really draw you in to the story and make you root for them all the way through. I love the Savoie sisters and can't wait to see where the story goes next!

I just love the Stay a Spell series and Witches Get Stitches was such a wonderful addition to the series! Nico has got to be one of my favorite heroes now. The way he knows exactly what he wants ( aka Violet) and has the patience to wait for her to be ready was all kinds of swoony. Violet is so driven to open her business and I really admire her drive and finding what will make her happy. The way Violet and Nico support each other and really become friends first was such a great basis for a relationship. It also made me anxiously wait on the edge of my seat for the two to finally come together, and once they did, it was like fireworks! The chemistry between the two was undeniable and just jumped off the page. So good! I also can’t end this review without mentioning the hilarity that is Fred the rooster, He just stole the show every time we saw him, and had me now wishing for a pet Rooster! The sisters relationship is also perfection and makes me so excited to read the rest of their stories. This series has a way of making me feel cozy and at home like very few others I’ve read and I will always be coming back for more visits. A review copy of this book was provided by Netgalley and the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It has been absolute insta-love with every single book from the Stay a Spell series! Reading Violet's and Nico's story was fun, a bit frustrating because STUBBORN ... and a little bit angsty, which I love. If you loved Devraj from Don't Hex and Drive, just wait until you meet Nico :) Their story is straight fire from beginning to end. When they have a memorable and passionate moment together that's forever etched on their minds only to be quickly friendzoned because of Violet's seer status. And then onto being business partners it was for the both of them. I keep saying this time and time again, Juliette writes shifters and mates so well. And there's no doubt that Violet and Nico are meant to be together. But with the Violet's gift and thing's that are to come, she reigns her feelings in to prevent any heartbreak. And yes, the frustration began! I loved that Nico would do whatever it takes to make Violet his, even waiting things out. But just the little things he does here and there will definitely make you swoon over him. His wolf was literally always right there wanting to claim what was there, but my goodness his patience. I have to give him major points for that. Even though dominance is in his nature as a wolf, I loved his soft and sweet side especially towards Violet. It was only a matter of time! Juliette blends the perfect amount of paranormal and contemporary romance. I enjoy the fact that the romance between Vi and Nico is the main focus. But you still get some paranormal factors with learning a little about the way of the wolves and just how Nico is on a day to day basis. AND more of not only what the Savoie sisters are capable of, but exploring each one of them and their specific gift. I read this in one sitting and I can't wait for what's to come especially when we get glimpses here and there of the other sisters. There's always something to look forward to. All the recommendations for this one especially if you're looking for something that's not too heavy on the paranormal!

I’m scrolling through NetGalley looking for a possible new author for me to discover and what do I find but Juliette Cross and the third book in her Stay a Spell series, neither of which is new to me nor unknown. In fact, I have been saving up this series to read binge read because HELLO! It’s Juliette Cross! She’s like addicting potato chips and I know once I start reading anything by this author, I am going to want more. I wanted to wait a while until more of the series came out but, here I am looking at Witches Get Stitches and I know there is no waiting any longer for me. *Makes grabby hands motion* Violet has a dream to open her own tattoo shop. One that caters to supernaturals in need of permanent charms, and as a seer, she has magic to cast every kind of spell. With the help of her business partner, Nico, her dream is about to come true. What she doesn’t know is Nico Cruz also has a motive. He needs her help to get his werewolf side under control. That isn’t all of it. He wants, no he needs, to be with Violet so he will his plan is to work his way into her heart and life until Violet finally recognizes they are fated to be together. Luckily, Nico has no scruples about misbehaving to get what he wants. Nico and Violet….ACK! This was a hot one. Violet is so headstrong, and Nico is sooo sexy. You could literally see sparks fly between them. The book starts out hot and heavy and then whoosh, we are brought into real time and watch it all, meaning more than bow-chica-wow-wow, build between them. And it is anything but smooth sailings. Violet’s struggles to keep Nico in the friends’ zone but it so hard when there is that ‘something’ between them. Just when you think things are going to work out, Nico’s past comes back to haunt him in the form of his former pack. YIKES! Never a dull moment! OMG! How am I going to be able to live with myself and wait for the next book to come out?! This series is so good it’s an addiction. The further I get into it the more I want it to keep going! Potato chips people, potato chips. Good thing there are quite a few Savoie sisters because I expect each and everyone of them to get their own story…especially Clara. I would love to see a little witch and grim action go down. Stars: 5 I received this book from Netgalley. I was not compensated for the book other than the entertainment it provided. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The werewolf the witch and a rooster named Fred Oh! My! Another fabulous installment of juliette cross's Stay A Spell series!!!! This series just keeps getting better and hotter every book and I'm totally hook, line and fucking sinker!!!! What a fabulous storyteller Juliette cross is!!! Nico is one hot sexy werewolf and a total alpha male who knows how to take care of a lady!!! I don't know how many hot flashes I had reading his and Violet's make out sessions!! This book started out with a bang and the chemistry was off the charts!!!! Holy f**king shit! Cross is going to ruin me for other paranormal dudes!!! The storyline and writing were fabulous as always and the characters main and secondary ( for now) are so damn interesting and I want this series to go on FOREVER!!!! I love all the savoie sisters and while I identify more with either Jules the oldest sister and head of this family or violet's twin sister Clara the nurturer it is violet who I'd want to be!!! She's very out spoken and snarky and quick with a come back but she meant her match with this smoking hot wolf!!! I loved how after just one hot and steamy meeting that he knew she was his mate and followed her all the way back to new Orleans to get her to see they had something together and little by little he wore this independent and sexy witch down. Between curses and a pack of werewolves that have their own agenda when he comes to violet theirs a whole lot of action and suspense with laugh out loud moments and sex that gave a whole new meaning to howling at the moon! And juliette gave us little hints here and their for what's coming next! And theirs some exciting news in store for one of our couples and yes even bad boy Alpha mateo's inner wolf has something to say ! Never get tired of this egotist wolf! If you haven't started this series you have time to catch before this comes out in July!!! So grab a cold drink turn the fan to high and get ready to enter the world of Juliette Cross its gonna be a scorcher!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Until next time Luv's💋💕

I absolutely loved this book! This is the third book in the Stay a Spell series and it’s everything you could hope for! The Savoie sisters are so fierce and Violet is no different. After a chance encounter with Violet Savoie in Austin, Nico Cruz - and his wolf - are pushed to relocate in New Orleans. The vibrant seer calls to them, even if she’s not ready to admit they’re fated to be together. Violet’s resistance to Nico only stokes the fire burning between them. All that tension and desire is absolutely explosive when Violet finally submits to her mate. Juliette Cross has truly created an incredible duo. Nico and Violet have a soul deep creativity they each bleed so passionately, both for their work and each other. I loved watching their journey unfold and the strength that radiates from them. There’s so much heart in this story it will captivate you from the beginning. I received an ARC from NetGalley and the author in exchange for an honest review.

RATING 4.5 STARS Witches Get Stitches is book three in the Stay a Spell series by Juliette Cross. This is Violet and Nico’s book and I can’t wait for you to meet them. Violet Savoie is one of the six Savoie sisters, and is also the twin sister of Clara. Violet is a witch, a Divine Seer. She’s been working in her family’s bar, The Cauldron, for years now trying to save up money for her dream, to start her own tattoo parlor. Violet and Nico first meet on a New Years Eve when she is in Austin. Their encounter is short and hot. Violet has no interest in relationships, especially not with this sexy werewolf. She was certainly shocked when a year later, Nico shows up in her own city of New Orleans, on stage at the very bar she works at. Nico Cruz is a werewolf who was part of a pack in Austin. Nico knew he needed to get out of Austin, that he needed to separate himself from the pack. When he met the bewitching Violet, she gave him the reason he needed for leaving. He knew right away that Violet was important to him. She might run, but he would follow her. He and his wolf wanted Violet and he would wait for as long as it took for her to figure out what they could be together. Violet and Nico become friends, and then business partners when Violet opens her own tattoo shop, Empress Ink. Violet wants to do more than just to express her art on people’s bodies. She wants to use her tattoo gift to help supernaturals, to combine her magic and her art to especially help werewolves who struggle to control their wolf side. Violet has been struggling with her attraction to Nico since he stepped foot in New Orleans. Now they are business partners, so even though she knows Nico is also attracted to her, she keeps him in the friend zone. But she isn’t sure how much longer she’s going to be able to deny this chemistry that has been sizzling between them. I swear, Nico is the most patient man I’ve ever seen. His feelings for Violet are so strong and true, that he’ll wait as long as it takes for her to come to him. For her to realize the possibility of what they can be. But just when they are finally making progress, his old pack from Austin shows up, and it seems like they want to stir up trouble. You haven’t seen anything until you see how a werewolf reacts to someone touching his woman! Did I say that Nico plays guitar and sings? Did I say that he was walking and talking sex on a stick and he would do anything and everything for Violet? This man/werewolf waited a long time for her to figure things out. He might have finally helped her along a little bit in the end but wow! How could I not love this guy?! This was a fun addition to this series. I loved seeing more of Evie and Mateo together as well as Izzy and Devraj. We also got to know Livvy and Clara better. How about Violet’s bow tie wearing rooster, Fred? We also get to know a little bit more about the Grims, another kind of supernatural that lives in their community. They are so mysterious but I suspect in coming books, we’ll get to know one particular one of them even better. I’m not sure who it will focus on but the next book in the series, book four, will be Always Practice Safe Hex. I can’t wait to find out more!

This series just gets better & better which I didn’t think possible after the last one! Nico has patiently waited for Violet after a chance meeting made him realise that she is “the one”. Violet has different ideas & she is sure he can never be more than a friend after reading her own cards. They get together to set up a tattoo shop business which means they are together more & the magic is obvious to everyone except them. Nico has baggage from his old pack & when they come to town looking for Violet it’s just too much for him to bear. The dialogue is just superb & had me in stitches at times, the other witchy sisters are all back with their partners & friends. I loved every page & can't wait for the next one!

Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross ‘“I know what we are,” he snapped back, almost viciously. He curled his hands completely around my wrists, squeezing firmly but not to the point of pain. “What we could be,” he growled. “If you’d just let it happen.”’ If you’ve been searching for a perfectly provoking, sumptuous and arousing paranormal romance to sink your teeth into (forgive me, I couldn’t help it) then you need look no further than author Juliette Cross’s absolutely superb Stay A Spell series. Think of it as an x-rated Charmed, except way more lavish, bewitching and definitely much more exhilarating. Juliette Cross has once again, managed to extract some of that exceptional fictional magic from her supernatural characters, and has used it, to entice, impress and command the attention of her readers from start to finish. She wrangels that magic- otherwise known as talent- infusing every spark of it into her writing, layering it in through the exciting and stand out plot, sewing it into the snappy, sexy and extremely cool dialogue, weaving it into the many different connections- familial, friendly and other. And it’s the ‘other’ that keeps things dynamic and powerful throughout Witches Get Stitches. That push and pull of her hero and heroine, the charisma, the flame that ignites instantaneously between them both, the denying and refuting, the smouldering, sexual tension and sometimes bafflement- it all keeps everything more thrilling, frustrating, edgy and gripping. I only wish I could be Violet’s level of cool. She was the epitome of awesome. From her hair to her tattoos, to how she saw the world around her, and how she was unapologetic for who she was. She owned every inch of her sass and swagger. The definition of a badass with a heart of gold. I loved that we got to see all sides to her personality. The tough side, the tender side, the confident yet utterly vulnerable aspects. It all made her Violet. Standout, remarkable and unique. Nico, as our hero, was simply breathtaking. A werewolf, who sings and plays guitar. A man who is equal parts sweet and so damn sexy. He doesn’t want to play games. He’s fairly straightforward, confident, and knows how to go after what and who he wants. That steadfastness and loyalty mixed with the werewolf virility, gruffness and danger is a heady mix for sure. I’m not sure Violet ever stood a chance of resisting. I was absolutely hooked from that very first New Year’s episode - a wish that we ALL ring in next year just. Like. That - right through to that glorious, happy ending, and everything in between. Juliette has accomplished here what most authors strive to accomplish. She gave readers a glowing, thrill-ride of an opening, and closed it all with a beautiful, dazzling, sigh-with-contentment ending. And in between she gave us suspense, flirtation and heat, a lot of fun and laughter and most importantly, Juliette let us feel like we were part of that world for a little while. Like we were a part of that family. We lived in a world where magic and witches and werewolves and vampires could be real. I’m super excited for Clara’s story and Jules’. With the heat factor ramping up exponentially, the flow of each arc and the banter and fun to be found in each book, things are only going to get better and better. One thing is for sure, author Juliette Cross does not disappoint.

The third book in the Stay in a Spell Series, Violet and Nico's story is a yet another hilarious yet touching paranormal romance. Despite the heroines belonging to the same family and all being witches, the plots of their books do not feel based on a formula at all, something rare in series stand alones. Violet and Nico have a chance encounter that spooks one and leaves the other wanting more, when they start collaborating on Violet's tattoo shop is when it gets harder to stay away from each other. I love how the author didn't make Violet the stereotypical rebellious colour haired, tattoo creating heroine, she's loves her family and supports them in all ways. She's a closeted romantic, waiting for her soulmate. Similarly Nico is not the dark broody werewolf, he has his dark jealous moments but he gets his love through patience and sensitivity. The way the author describes the agony werewolves go through, struggling against their violent magic, it made me feel deeply empathetic for these fantasical characters too. I'm really looking forward to the stories of all the Blackwater Grims, a type of supernatural I've never read about before!

So if you know me (even if it is just a little bit) you know I was dying to read this book. Given the year I have been having, meaning, I have been disappointed with mostly everything I read as well as with every release I was afraid of picking this book. However I am extremely happy to announce that this book did not disappoint and if anything overdelivered everything I wanted and needed at this time. ⠀ I must say that I am not the biggest fan of Violet, it’s hard to explain, because I love her for he story but I do not love her as much as I love Isadora or Evie. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I do not think that she and I would be friends, but I love her as a character and I love her story with Nico, whom on the other side, it’s my favorite male lead so far. But my point is that delivering a book I love, even when the main character is definitely not my favorite person it’s brilliant! ⠀ I loved the story and how all the events unravel. And I love that little by little we are beginning to see more and more of the supernatural world and its politics. In fact I can’t wait to see how some of the events of this book will affect the future ones. ⠀ My favorite thing, definitely is how well developed are the relationships, specially between the sisters. I love to see how they are friends on top of being sisters and how they are always there for each other. Also I love to see Mateo and Nico together as a family as we did not have that big o chance for that on the previous books. ⠀ The best thing was not any of the things I mentioned so far. I loved the component of the magic tattoos, and how Violet is using her magic in order to help other supernaturals. I don’t wanna dive too much into it but it was so cool to see all her powers. ⠀ I would definitely recommend you to check out this book, and the previos one in the Stay and Spell series if you haven’t yet. They are funny, and have that little bit of spice into the romance that I just love. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!

So for today's review, I want to tell you guys about a HILARIOUSLY amazing book I just read. Yes, I am talking about Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross. This is the third book in her Sit a Spell series, though each book can be read as a standalone and contains its own HEA. However, there is overlapping characters so it could be fun to read the others first! This is the first book in this series that I read and I still thought it was incredible, even without having read the others (though I will be picking them up after how much I loved this one!). Key Points: - two viewpoints - friends to lovers slow-burn! - ALL THE PINING - quirky humor - witches, vampires, werewolves, OH MY! - SO STEAMY! *fans* This book is a paranormal romance novel set in a world with werewolves, witches, vampires, and grim reapers, but get this, it is in a completely modern setting! Imagine having all those creatures just walking around in secret throughout New Orleans! I'll never see the city the same way, I can tell you that much. All of the books in this series focus on one of the Savoie sisters, a powerful family of witches (think Sabrina the Teenage Witch!). Witches get Stitches focuses on Violet, the powerful Seer in the family with extremely potent magic and a talent for spell casting. Violet dreams of opening her own tattoo shop, and with the help of her new business partner, Nico, that dream is about to become reality. Nico, a powerful Alpha werewolf, has had his eyes on a life with Violet ever since they had a steamy encounter on New Year's Eve two years earlier. Nico is ready to seduce Violet and make her his mate, but his former pack rolling into town causes a hitch in the plan. Will Nico be able to win Violet's heart and protect her from the violence of the Blood Moon pack? I am giving this a 5/5 stars because I absolutely DEVOURED this book. This book was exactly what I needed this week! There was sizzling romance, so much snarky banter, and all the pining! Juliette Cross did such an amazing job writing Nico's point of view that I am even more convinced that all of the best men don't exist because they are written by women (I would sell my soul to have a man think about me like Nico thinks about Violet!) I also absolutely loved having both Violet and Nico's points of view throughout this story. It really brought to life all of the angst (yes, put on your angsty playlists and get reading). I 100% recommend this book to anyone who loves a friends to lovers steamy romance with lots of sexual tension and banter, mixed with supernatural twist. I was literally grinning from ear to ear the entire time I was reading this book, I really cannot explain just how much I liked it well enough! But, I hope y'all will check out this series and read the first two books. This book will be out July 20th and is available for preorder! I will attach links below for anyone interested in this book. Have any of you read this series? Let me know down below! I was provided an ARC by Victory Editing NetGallery Co-op in exchange for an honest review, this in no way effects my review.
