Description

Memory—and the Christmas spirit—can be powerful and miraculous!

A timeless classic back in print with a fresh new look

In a little house, in a big city, an old man remembers Christmases long ago—when friends and family gathered to tell stories and sing carols and children made gold paper stars to welcome visitors.

Now the city is filled with skyscrapers, bright lights, and signs. Who would even notice old-fashioned paper stars hanging in a window?

But when the old man decorates a park tree with his basket full of paper stars—the whole community discovers just how powerful the Christmas spirit can be in this joyous holiday story.

“A quiet appeal for simple pleasures and old-fashioned celebrations.”—School Library Journal

Beautiful in it’s simplicity, The Star Tree is a perfect Christmas read-aloud bound to create a cherished holiday tradition. I was overcome with feelings of Christmas nostalgia, and I know everyone who reads this timeless story will be too. Lovely illustrations add to the tranquil spirit of this soon-to-be classic tale.

The Star Tree is a heart-warming story of a holiday that has changed in the way it is now celebrated. The story reminds us that you should be the beauty is doing something simple by meaningful. I wish there were more books like this with a good moral to the story. The cover was catchy and most of all the font style was whimsical and eye catching.
