Wishing I was a member of Bridgestone society (no pun intended) I loved this cook book which is light fluffy and fun. Just so uplifting and with recipes that are so easy it makes it a worthwhile book to have on your shelf or a prefect gift for Bridgerton fans.

I think I am on the Bridgerton fan boat because as soon as I saw this I had to review it and test some recipes! I made the Cucumber Miniatures with the Lady's Clotted Cream and it was delicious! I also tested the Future-Securing Lobster Bisque and it was absolutely amazing. The pictures were absolutely beautiful and brought the cookbook together. I will defiantly purchase this one!

If you have a Bridgerton fan in the family, here’s a perfect gift for them!

I am obsessed with trying out food from the books I’ve read and loved. I already got several, and this one will be such a nice addition to the collection.

The recipes seem great, easy to follow. The illustrations and the photographs were done really well. And the whole cookbook has a romantic, uplifting feel to it.

I really loved what they did with it!

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of The Unofficial Bridgerton Cookbook in exchange for an honest review.

I was just talking about how I can't wait until the next season of Bridgeton is here and now I may have to reread some of the books in anticipation when I stumbled across this gem! I was so excited to dive into The Unofficial Bridgerton Cookbook!

This book is packed with unique and interesting recipes along with regal introductions and suggestions fit for a Duchess. The recipes are more formal, definitely what you would expect of a cookbook dedicated to this era. Perfect for anyone wanting to host a Bridgerton brunch or it would make an incredible book club or cook book night!

Overall, I really loved this cookbook. As a fan of the series from Julia Quinn I just loved the titles of each recipe. Everything I tried was amazing as well. The descriptions of each recipe were so detailed and written so well that I really felt like I could picture anyone of the characters enjoying them. A personal favourite of mine were 'Daphne's Dearest Crepe's', they have definitely become a quick and tasty Sunday morning staple! Really looking forward to sharing my excitement with my co-workers when it finally comes out. 5/5 Stars!!

This is such a fun addition to my Bridgerton collection. The artwork and photography in this book are fabulous, along with the lovely period-related recipes. This would make a great gift for any regency romance reader, or a Bridgerton fan, of course. Thank you for the opportunity to review this book.

Fans of the Julia Quinn series and the Netflix show will adore this cookbook! The book interweaves some prose about the book and everyone’s favorite characters/scenes with somewhat period accurate recipes. While slight modifications have been made since readers are cooking in the year 2021, the recipes are pretty spot on for what the ton would have been eating at the time. The pictures are beautiful and fully evoke the ambiance of the source material. The only criticism to offer this gorgeous book is that sometimes the instructions feel a bit sparse for modern cookbook users. This is entirely a personal quibble, but a common refrain when running a cookbook club was that the instructions were not specific enough for some cooks. It is something that I tend to notice even though it very well may not impact the functionality of the cookbook. All in all, this one would make a great holiday gift for any Romance readers in your life and a fun addition to any cookbook collection.

Bridgerton was one of my favorite Netflix shows this year and led me to reading all of the books which are also amazing. I absolutely love when tv shows or books get cookbooks based on them made. This one was no exception. I definitely plan to throw a Bridgerton watch party when season 2 comes out and utilize some of these amazing recipes!

Thank you Netgalley and Adams Media for the ARC to read and review.

Well, for all you Bridgerton fans, here is a cookbook filled with Regency inspired foods to tide you over until the next season is ready for viewing. Breakfast, Luncheons, grand parties, and Afternoon teas are all covered here in this extensive cookbook. Very cute and very clever.

An absolute delight, a beautifully written must-have for any Bridgerton fans. Lots of beautiful, well written and clearly tested recipes, all with snappy Bridgerton themed commentary, I've made the blueberry lavender fizz which I livened up with a shot of gin - very tasty, the butternut soup and the tomato tartare - all very inspiring and delicious

This was a wonderful cookbook filled with so many fun recipes that made you feel as if you were part of the Bridgerton family. It is perfect for the Bridgerton fan whether the Netflix show or the book series by Julia Quinn.

A good book of recipes specifically for Bridgerton fans. Chapters are A Royal Start to the Day, Luncheon Delights, Afternoon Tea, The Grand Banquet (includes sections on Soups, Vegetables and Leafy Greens, Fish, and Meats), and Evening Sweets and Libations. There are many references to the show, either in recipe titles or descriptions. Most but not all of the recipes include a full color photograph, using appropriate china. I really enjoyed the facts at the end of recipes, many regarding the Regency era and related to food or ingredients and history. Some of the recipes used ingredients or flavors that might have been more common during that time period, but there are also lots of things in here that work today.
I don't think the book would hold a high appeal for someone unfamiliar with either the show or the books it is based on, but a fan of those who also enjoys cooking would likely appreciate this.

Going into this book, I was expecting it to be filled with very high class foods. And it was! It starts off with bakery items that sound delicious. A note, this book is not for anyone on any sort of diet, however it does capture the spirit of the period very well. The pictures are beautiful and will cause you to want to make everything. There is a vegetable section that does provide some recipes for a vegetarian, which was unexpected. The biggest section is the dessert section which is amazing!

The Unofficial Bridgerton Cookbook is beautifully illustrated with gorgeous photos topped with plenty of recipes. The recipes contain food history, serving hints, or a backstory on how one of the Bridgerton characters could have served one of the recipes found in this cookbook.

Some of the recipes you'll find include:

Royal Indulgence Biscuits with Gravy
High Society Scones
Cucumber Miniatures with the Lady's Clotted Cream
Portia's Green Soup
Lady Featherington's Society Sponge Cake
The Prince Regent's Potato Plumpers
Royal Wedding Oysters on the Half Shell
Duchess Champagne Cocktail
Debutante Punch

Recommend.

Bridgerton, recipes and a history tidbit...

A fun cookbook. I liked the format for each recipe. The introduction to each recipe refers to the show Bridgerton (not the book series). The recipe follows and I especially enjoyed the history tidbit as the closing paragraph at the end of every recipe. This was tasty morsel of a history lesson.

The recipes itself are very modern recipes that cover tea, soups, drinks and main courses.
Just enjoy fancifulness and have fun.

First, I should apologize because my review is several days late. It was Thanksgiving week and I am the Thanksgiving cook in my house, so I really should have written and scheduled the review early, rather than late, but here we go.

The very first thing a person notices when they read through this collection of recipes is that the book seriously rolls with the vibe and aesthetic of Netflix’s Bridgerton. It is well organized and well collected. The attention to detail in the photos as well as how well curated the recipes themselves are is a testimony to the author’s dedication to the books. I received a Kindle copy through the publisher in return for a review, but after reviewing a few disaster niche c ookbooks recently, I wasn’t really hopeful for a win. I was pleasantly surprised.

The collection is very well organized and the fonts are easy to read, which is very important in a recipe book. I don’t know how other home cooks feel about it, but I dislike cookbooks with teensy tiny type or fonts that are cutesy (I’m looking at you, Comic Sans…). The photos accompanying the recipes are incredible, too. Everything is mouthwatering and eye catching. In each photo, it looks as though each table linen, each fork, each glass is selected specifically for the Queen and her ladies, as though the reader has been teleported through time and has arrived at afternoon tea, just in time.

I also love that even though this cookbook is geared toward Bridgerton and the characters and settings of the series, anyone on this Earth could buy it and enjoy the recipes. Good food is good food, period. You could have no idea what Bridgerton even is and still thoroughly enjoy the cookbook because the recipes are easy to follow and all of the dishes are foods anyone could prepare, eat, and enjoy. I feel like people who enjoy entertaining or have large family get togethers could get an added amount of use from this collection, though, and I mean that in the best of ways.

I’d like to add that even though the copy I was given is wonderful and I’m so thrilled to have the digital copy, I’ll be buying a hardback copy as well because I’m a cookbook collector and I really loved this one.

If you haven’t watched Bridgerton and are interested, the first season is available on Netflix. If you’d like to read the novels by Julia Quinn first, you can find them at Amazon.com, starting with Bridgerton: The Duke and I.

I haven’t read a lot of other reviews for this cookbook and I’d love to hear what other folks think about it, so if you have read through it, drop a comment or shoot me an email at Rhiannon@RhiannonWritesOn.com and I’d love to hear your opinion! I’m also open to suggestions for other cookbooks based on pop culture. They really do seem to be a hit or miss!

Perfect recipes for a Bridgerton watch party! The recipes included are easy and seem like they would be fun to make with friends while waiting for a new season to premiere. I also like how each recipe fits the character it is named for. I can also see using the recipes for tea and brunch parties. I nice addition to the Bridgerton world.

I was overjoyed to see that there was an unofficial Bridgerton Cookbook and am now in the process of compiling a menu in preparation to watch season one with my sister (it's her first time). Hopefully, the only thing burning will be Simon's love for his Duchess.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC which I received in return for an honest review.
