"5.0 out of 5 stars Compelling, Bold... Espionage at its finest

This was a compelling, complex, and utterly satisfying read. Moscow Embassy: The Angara Club is an extremely well-written fictional account (with factual history cleverly woven throughout) of espionage and political intrigue, as well as beautifully developed and well-described romance as a subplot. I won't go into the specifics of the story, as other reviewers have already done that quite well. I will say, though, that Author Thomas J. Mitchell captivated me and pulled me into his richly developed world where I felt like I personally knew the characters. It was SO good, I had a really hard time putting it down long enough to feed my family and was blown away to learn that this was a debut novel! And the ending... oh my gosh! I'm not going to give it away, but it tugged on a million emotional strings! Would I recommend it? Absolutely! 5 stars all the way!"
