Anna Parkinson is a healer, a writer, and a former BBC documentary producer. In 2007 she published 'Nature’s Alchemist', about John Parkinson, a famous 17th century herbalist whose books had been passed down through her family. However, while writing it, Anna was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Despite the success of her book, cited by The Telegraph as one of the top 10 books of the year, Anna found her outlook was changed completely by her efforts to overcome the brain tumour. When it proved to be inoperable, she explored healing, and discovered a radically different perspective that enabled her to banish the tumour and its symptoms without surgery or medicine. As a practising healer, Anna’s fascination with the power of healing and the silent language of the body has deepened continually since that time. In 2014 she published 'Change Your Mind Heal Your Body', designed to demystify healing and help others through a similar process.

The reader will find here the means to expand horizons on life and uncover happiness and individual purpose through the challenges humanity currently faces. Anna has written extensively about healing, as well as the uses of plants, for publications including the Times. Telegraph, Spirit and Destiny magazine. She teaches regular workshops at the College of Psychic Studies in London and online. In 2021 she launched an apprenticeship programme. She has been a guest on LBC, BBC local radio and a number of podcasts, frequently delivering talks to groups as varied as the British Medical Association, Literary festivals and the W.I.
