Phoenix stone by Roxanne Leblanc.
Book 1 of the stone brothers series.
This was a good read. I loved the cover and that's what drew me to this book. I wasn't sure if I liked Phoenix or not. I loved Juniper. I'm looking forward to the next book. 5*.

There were lots of twists and turns in this book. Some were good and some not so good. The characters were interesting for the most part, but Phoenix was hard to connect with as he jumped from one spectrum to another in his emotions and his attraction to Juniper. It was interesting to watch Juniper come into her own as a strong independent woman who started out as someone I wasn’t sure I would like. The story was interesting. The sex scenes were a little over the top and I’m not sure why they had to constantly scream during the sex scenes, but different strokes for different folks. I enjoyed this story enough that I am planning on reading the next installment and would recommend this book to others.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
I enjoyed this book and the storyline kept me interested. While Phoenix and Juniper definitely had some previous mistakes, when they met they had an instant attraction. Not only did Phoenix feel a connection with Juniper but he sure fell in love with her son too.
Many things happen throughout the book that threaten to keep them apart and Phoenix sure has a stubborn streak but you still get a HEA ending.

The book started great with the tension between Juniper and Phoenix. It was incredible from the first time they lay eyes on each other and the attraction was instant but each of them was fighting it for their own reasons.

Juniper is a single mother to 2-year-old Cross and she is very careful of who enters his life so she has been single since conceiving him.

Phoenix is the eldest of the Stone brothers, he is fond of his single life and does not was to love or commit like EVER!

I liked most of the characters, especially Phoenix's brothers. There were moments when I was smiling from the funny dialogue.

A lot of twists and turns in this novel which I enjoyed mostly except that the love scenes kept repeating and it seems they turned into bunnies. It was just too much and with nothing new.
The unnecessary angst Pheonix was dealing with was annoying and the ending was rushed with a cliffhanger.
I might continue with the series since the other brothers are interesting.

Thanks to Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to the publisher and author as well as netgalley for allowing me access to this eARC of this book and allowing me to give feedback and read books in exchange for a review.

This is a beautiful romance novel, I loved the characters and felt that I was so engrossed in the story that I read this whole book in one sitting. I have not read from Roxanne Leblanc before and I was impressed and will read from her again in the future.
