Just like my favorite ghost hunter tv show this book kept me glued to the pages.

Ava just inherited the Trumble mansion that is if she can solve a 200 year old mystery. So what does the do she calls in a ghost hunting team.

Jackson Granger is the head of the Phantom team. He’s wanted to investigate this mansion for a long time.

And Jackson? He didn't have a flaw, best she could tell. He even had an accent, God save her! A silly weakness of hers.

This is a amazing ghost story with a hot sexy love story. I’ve never read anything by this author before the new cover had me coming back to it again and again until I just finally had to jump in.?I’m so glad I did. I can’t wait until the next reprint comes out because I’m so there.

I really enjoyed this paranormal romance by Kelly Moran. The ghosts were used in a masterful way, as was the budding romance between Ava and Jackson. The characters felt fully fleshed out as well as leaping directly into the action of the story.

Ava must solve a two hundred year old mystery in order to inherit her aunt’s house which she hopes to turn into a B & B. When she brings in the team from a ghost-hunting tv show she gets more than she bargained for. Show host Jackson has a connection to the old house and as soon as the two meet, sparks fly! Personally, I didn’t find this book at all scary—just delightfully suspenseful. The author did a great job of developing the relationship with a bit help from the ghosts. The supernatural elements were well-handled, taken seriously without being over the top. A great start to a series!

When Ava needs help to solve and mystery and keep ownership of a family mansion that she hopes to turn into a bed and breakfast, she seeks the help of a ghost hunting reality television show. This haunting romance will intrigue readers and keep them engaged.

In this book, Ava inherits her family estate off the coast in Maine. She has plans to turn it into a Bed and Breakfast however her Aunt has left one stipulation for her to inherit. The mansion is haunted and has a history and Ava must solve the 200 hundred year old mystery of the disappearance of a young girl or the Historical Society will inherit. Ava enlist the help of a paranormal investigating team and of course she and the handsome host, Jackson seem to trigger some occurrences.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The writing was fantastic and I felt like I was there with the investigating team. If you like stories with ghosts, a haunted house and a good love story, this is the book for you. I am anxious to read more by Kelly Moran.

Ghost of A Promise is a win for me. This is such a wonderful take on the the paranormal romance genre. I loved the premise as I am a huge fan of ghost hunting shows. Honestly, I don't have much to say except that this is going to be my new comfort series. I read a lot of "comfort" books to get me out of a slump and Kelly Moran's Ghost of a Promise actually pulled me back to reading. I can't wait to read her next book.

WOW....This book was brilliant! I've never read anything from this author but I will be looking for more of her books. The story was well paced, the characters well developed and the dynamic between Ava and Jackson was perfect. I really enjoyed this story

An old creepy haunted house, threat of losing said house, a century or so old mystery, a curse, ghosts, paranormal investigators, and a woman, Ava, determined to save it at all costs, including her staying single… forever.
Too bad the lead investigator, Jackson, is super-hot and determined to flirt with her at every possible opportunity. But this thing between them seems way too intense and giving off major
déjà vu.

Meanwhile the ghosts are running amok and causing all kinds of trouble.
I used to watch Ghost Hunters constantly (no not the one with Zack Baggins, that’s Ghost Adventures).

I absolutely love this concept. Ghosts, Paranormal Investigators, Romance, what more could you want!?

I loved reading about the behind the scenes of the investigation.
The relationships between the crew were developed and intriguing at times.
Most of the characters were likeable, the small-town vibe was spot on.

My only issues were that Ava was way too stubborn about accepting her feelings for
Jackson. Give it up already, literally and figuratively!

I was also hoping for some more drama between the other potential heirs to the house. It would’ve made the stakes higher and the ending that much more satisfying.

I’ve already read the second book, Give Up the Ghost, and it was even better than the first. I am currently, impatiently, awaiting the third to be released.

I love Kelly Morans paranormal romances. While they are heavy on the romance, I find i dont mind it. I think that's entirely because of her writing style. This one was a particularly well written story. I loved Ava so much, and I wanted her to have everything. The paranormal team Phantoms was also a delight. I just loved how this story unfolded, and how each character interacted, and connected. Thank you Kelly for another wonderful story!

Ava Trumble has always loved her family's mansion, ghosts, and all. When her aunt passes and leaves the mansion to her, there is just one catch; she needs to discover what happened to one of the ghosts, or else she loses the estate to the historical society. Jackson and his ghost hunting crew are her last hope to solve this mystery. I could NOT put this book down and ended up reading it in one sitting! From the first page, it grabbed me and kept ahold of me until the very end. The story flowed so eloquently, and the romance between Jackson and Ava was steamy! If you love paranormal and romance, then read this book!

I liked all the characters, well except for maybe her parents (they were a bit odd). Ava's aunt put undue pressure on her to solve a 230 year old mystery to the satisfaction of a lawyer. What?? This cozy mystery will surprise you, with the interesting modern day ghost busters! 4 stars The next book sounds fun as well. I think most romance, and cozy mystery readers will enjoy this book.

This book was very refreshing! Very different then what I have read recently. loved it hope to read more from the author.

Really enjoy this! I love the paranormal and do paranormal investigations myself. I appreciated the definitions in the front of the book for those who don't know what the equipment is. Spooky love story that was just what I needed. If you enjoy ghosts, paranormal investigations, romance and haunted house you will enjoy this. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series.

Ghost of A Promise strikes a good balance of mystery, ghosts, and romance. The house's history is just as important to the story as Ava and Jackson. It was engaging to get to know the two characters, the story of the house, and the ghost hunting crew as they worked together to capture evidence and figure out what happened to Sarah. I think the interactions between Ava and Jackson were so interesting because of the equal level of trust and defensiveness that they both displayed. It made for a get push and pull between them, and I think resulted in a stronger connection in the long run. I really enjoyed the ghostly and mystery aspects as well. I thought the book hit some very tense moments, but never hit on truly scary moments, which is just about the level of fear I can handle reading right now. I also love that the romance was not in vacuum, friends and family played the part- highlighting the issues each had and getting readers to care about the entire cast of characters, not just the two main players. I am very much looking forward to reading the second book in the series- in fact I already have it downloaded on my kindle.

Such an engaging ghost story! This had a compelling mystery and wonderful characters.

Ava lives in a mansion that is over 200 years old, passed down over many generations. She needs to solve a family mystery in order to inherit it. In order to do so, she needs the help of a group of ghost hunters, led by the super hot Jackson Granger.

The ghosthunting tools and techniques felt authentic enough, and the team felt fleshed out. I really enjoyed that aspect as much as the romance.

Ava and Jackson had great chemistry. I didn't feel as much of the antagonizing that seemed to be implied, but that didn't make me like it any less.

I look forward to the next book in the series!

I’ve been looking for a book like this for awhile, and just managed to trip over this on NetGalley.

Ava inherits her family home from her great aunt, a home that is possibly cursed and haunted by the ghosts of their ancestors. There is one stipulation to her getting the house, she has to solve the mystery of a death on the property that happened over a century ago. I was drawn into Ava’s plight and how she just wanted to fulfil her dream of turning the old house into a bed and breakfast.

As a last ditch effort she calls in a paranormal group/ show to investigate the house and hopefully find some answers. As Jackson and his crew investigate things get kinda weird, especially after it comes out that Jackson is distantly related to the victim. As the investigation goes on the attraction between Ava and Jackson grows. The sexual tension between these two is intense. Yet I was pulled in and kept reading to find out if it was genuine or due to the spirits.

The mystery paired with the relationship between Jackson and Ava kept me reading. The plot was well done dropping hints and offering clues for both the readers and investigators. I found myself engaged and wanting to know more about the whole team, not just Ava and Jackson.

I'm an avid romance reader and I love watching show about ghost hunters. So this book is a win win. It also takes place in Maine next to the ocean! Moran's writing is straightforward and clear. Which makes it so easy to follow the characters, their lives and also the investigating work. I really enjoyed the lead characters of Ava and Jackson. Instant attraction and very slow burn. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to read about a haunted house. It builds in intensity but not too scary for before bed reading.

Fans of paranormal investigation shows will love Ghost of a Promise.

The book is prefaced with a list of ghost hunting tech terms and that’s when avid watchers of paranormal tv, such as myself, get the first inkling this is going to be good. And it was.

The Trumble family estate is over 200 years old and is well-known in the small coastal town of Kerrick for it’s tragic history of death and sadness dating all the way back to it’s first owners. Ava Trumble has always loved her family home and has big plans when she inherits to turn it into a historic bed & breakfast. But her inheritance comes with a stipulation – she has one year to uncover the mystery of the very first tragedy to befall the home some 230 years ago: the disappearance of Sarah Kerrick, who was set to marry the Trumble heir before they had a falling out and she was never heard from again. With no physical evidence outside of a house filled with ghosts, Ava turns to a team of ghost hunters for help.

Jackson Granger, host and lead investigator for the tv show Phantoms, is used to all kinds of unusual experiences in his five year career searching for and documenting the paranormal, what he’s not used to is the sudden and intense feelings of attraction and home he feels when he comes to the Trumble estate and meets Ava. Is it the house or the woman making him feel this way? (spoiler: it’s a little of both).

You can really tell the author knows her stuff when it comes to paranormal investigations and she does a fantastic job of blending that in with the unfolding romance between Ava and Jackson in a compelling way that kept me hooked. I found myself equally as absorbed with the ongoing paranormal investigation as I was by the steamy romance between Ava and Jackson. As someone obsessed with ghost hunting shows, I can say the paranormal team and the investigation scenes come of as really authentic in this (except I wish more ghost hunting shows captured this much evidence, those Trumble spirits are active).

How much did I love this book? I’m already reading the next book in the series and adding the third book next on my TBR list because I loved it so much. There’s only three books in the trilogy, but if there were more I’d read those too.

I enjoyed this book so much! The premise was a lot of fun, focusing on a group of paranormal investigators with a hit tv show. The characters were all interesting and the two leads and their romance were so compelling. I couldn’t put the book down — and was sorry it was over. I’m so glad this will be a series, since I’m already eager to get back to the team and their investigations. Highly recommended.

This book started off exciting and kept it going thru out the whole story. It had so many twists and turns and ghost antics. I was entertained. Ava needs to solve the mystery of what happened to a relative Sarah Kerrick over 230 years old. Jackson leads the ghost hunters and falls for Ava but struggles in the relationship but gets ghostly intervention. The secondary characters really added to the story and kept you interested and captivated on what going to happen next. Book kept a smile on my face. I didn’t want to stop reading and can’t wait for the next from this author. I recommend this book for anyone and especially those who love paranormal genre. I will look forward to reading other books from her.

This is what an amazing supernatural romance looks like. I can not wait to read more. This author will be on my must-read list from now on. It was thrilling and captivating.

Whoa! What a ride. It was very fast-paced. The writing style kept me hooked and I didn't find myself losing any interest. I enjoyed getting to know each of the characters and how real the story felt. The author did a great job painting the setting, so it was easy for me to visualize the scene played out before me. I recommend giving this one a chance!

If you are in the mood for a low angst, steamy romance set in a haunted house this is the book for you.

I really enjoyed this novel. There was a good blend of mystery and paranormal elements. I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.
