This is a great read that is full of adventure and takes the reader on a journey of self discovery. The characters are interesting and engaging, and the chemistry leaps off the page. There's an element of suspense and intrigue, which adds to the fun. I finished it in an afternoon, I couldn't put this book down!

New to me author E.M. Wooley delights me with an erotic novel filled with kinky exploration. The story starts out with a heartbroken Summer who made a few jests with her boyfriend and he dumped her. On the advice of a Renaissance Faire fortune teller, Summer embarks on an erotic exploration to find herself. I wasn't sure what this would be like and I'm pleasantly surprised by the story, the erotic scenes, and the happily ever after.

Fast forward a few years and Summer's been spending the last few years expressing her sexual freedom. I thought when she was recommended to find herself, she would figure out what she wants in her life. What I didn't realize is that this was all about her sexuality and determining what she would do sexually. Summer never experiments with other women from what I can tell. She is purely focused on men. Her journal of sorts is a black book diary of her escapades. They are cute, kinky, and filled with roleplaying. Her latest checkbox on her sexual self-actualization is focused on her "Sleeping Beauty" kink otherwise known as somnophilia. Basically, she wants to consensually be taken whilst she is kind of sleeping. Who knew that there is a specific name for this fantasy? Also, who knew that what I agreed to with my spouse on the weekends is basically somnophilia? Learn something every day!

This story is more than just erotica. Summer is actually working for an outdoor adventure company that is pretty cool. Her competency in this comes through and I'm impressed with her logistical skills. Her most recent tour is with potential investment backers for her friend's outdoor adventure company. Quite frankly, the outdoor adventure sounds like so much fun. I would love to try it out. Emery and Troy are the two looking over the outfit and seeing if it rates being invested in. As they say, mixing business and pleasure could be a problem. Summer wrestles with this cardinal rule.

I'm glad she let go of her inhibitions and her cardinal rule. Her sexy romping with Emery and Troy is delicious and a voyeur's delight. I enjoyed every single sexapade and warn readers that it may generate a little bit of "me-time". There are a couple of reveals in the conclusion that wasn't a surprise. I did like the happily ever after and how all conflicts were resolved. This erotic romance is highly recommended to readers who enjoy a little kinky roleplaying.

What a story! I absolutely loved the plot. Regardless of the amount of erotic scenes, the story was great. That being said, this story is one where the reader must go into it with an open mind. If you are one that kink shames or isn’t comfortable reading others kinks, you should not read this. However, it was beautifully done and I look forward to reading more from this author!

Summer's Slumber by E. M. Wooley was a quick read. The author was new to me and the book was great escapism. It featured Summer who is working in Colorado at a small ski town. She joins a potential investor and his friend to snowshoe up the mountain to all three cabins when the guide is sick. Both men are attracted to her. The story details Summer's exploration of her sexuality and a sleeping beauty fantasy.

Some may find the storyline to be a bit taboo but everything was consensual. I liked the map included in the book which detailed where everything was located.

CW: explicit sexual language

Whoa! What a ride. It was very fast-paced. The writing style kept me hooked and I didn't find myself losing any interest. I enjoyed getting to know each of the characters and how real the story felt. The author did a great job painting the setting, so it was easy for me to visualize the scene played out before me. I recommend giving this one a chance!

I got this as a late ARC from netgalley and even with being intrigued by the blurb I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But I was PLEASANTLY surprised to say the least. This book does contain somnophilia that IS consented to by both parties involved. There is a bit of hidden identity and some love triangle lite (in that one of the guys is more of a check this off the list and the other is genuine interest), but the dynamic between the three is fascinating and I genuinely enjoyed the story. Watching them and their antics through the blizzard and everything their hike involved was a good time and I really liked it!

This was definitely an easy read and so enjoyable. This was also the first book I've read by this author and I like the combination of humor and spice. The kink in this wasn't too much it was perfect and had me hooked from the beginning.
This is well written and so engaging. As a reader that takes a few chapters to get into books sometimes this one had me right at the start!

I really liked this book. I mean genuinely reallyyyy liked it. The erotica was hot, the writing was well done, it was funny, cute, and charming. The one thing I was super impressed by was the conversation around the Fetish. That fetish specifically is one that people have a hard time with, however the conversation about consent, the details of what she actually wanted to happen during, and the communication in general was so good. I’ll definitely read more from this author!
