    Excellent advice on year-round skin care, exercise tips, foods to eat and recipes. I especially liked the section with DIY skin care recipes, all of which used common kitchen ingredients that I had on hand. Good information on skin care.

    A great book to learn about recipes and how to let your own natural beauty shine. Its filled with recipes that focus on on food, movement, mindset and skincare. I enjoy the option of learning about foods, recipes for hormone balance and learning how hormone and food play an important rule in day to day life and how the foods and food we eat shape our world with or without us knowing it.

    This book gave helpful tips. Is seemed like explanations given were true. Advice was season driven, which appears to be helpful as it incorporates seasonally available items.

    Dr. Cates advocates doing a seasonal "reset" == which basically means eating foods, and changing up skincare and self-care practices, to suit the seasons. The meal ideas and recipes seem delicious (I've tried a few smoothies). Some of the skincare ideas can be expensive, though Cates does list ingredients so that one can find budget-friendly options. In all, it's a useful guide for those of us who can benefit from a reminder of what is actually in season (when we can buy almost anything at any time) and how our daily activities should change as the year progresses.
