This is a cute little book with funny alliterations about blowing bubble gum, big, bigger, and biggest. There isn’t much story except for a few animals, one on each page, and the little kiddo blowing the bubble gum bigger.
The illustrations are vibrant, diverse, and cute. Each page has a clue about what would come next, so you can get little ones to guess the animal and see if they are right.
The book can also be used to teach new words with the letter B. The sentences become tongue twisters halfway through, and kids are sure to say them aloud and have loads of fun.
To summarize, Blueberry-Blue Bubble is a lighthearted and humorous book to entertain kids and keep them engaged for a while.
I received an ARC from NetGalley and BooksGoSocial and am voluntarily leaving a review.

As a kindergarten teacher, my students always struggle with the letter b. This book will help them with the sound as it repeats over and over again. They will love the animals and the repetition, so they can read along with me.

an adorable read! this is a story about a small boy who blows the titular blueberry-blue bubble, and continues doing so throughout the book, disrupting his surroundings, until the very end, till the bubble finally pops.

it is a sweet story, filled with vivid illustrations and delightful dialogue, which is no doubt going to easily grasp kids' attention! reading this out loud can not only be a great way to get children familiar with the letter 'B', as the story is filled with alliterations pertaining to that letter. as said earlier, the colorful illustrations are an added bonus!

all in all, a charming and joyous read.

Blueberry-Blue Bubble is a cute children’s book about blowing bubbles with gum. Is likely to be a book for five year olds and old. The pictures are wonderful and the story is very funny.

Love the illustrations! My 2.5 year old is so into watching us blow bubbles with gum and her animals right now - this is perfect for her age group. Sweet interactive story that is just the right length for a bedtime book.

Thank you to NG and BooksGoSocial for allowing me to read this book. My son loved! It was very cute with the animal words and guessing which one was coming next. Also a great tongue twister for adults reading this book.

Thank you NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for this ARC being read now!

I had so much fun reading this little book. It reminded me of some fun reads from my childhood. The husband and I had fun trying to see who can say the blueberry bubble words the best (it’s me, hi). I loved the little dude’s determination to have the biggest bubble ever and the animals that were warned.

As a former bubblegum blower kid myself I loved this book as soon as I saw it.
I was looking for something to read to my child at bedtime and this was the perfect book.
The illustrations are beautiful you can really feel what the animals are feelings when looking at a giant blueberry bubble coming their way.
The playfull wording was so much fun to read.
The only thing that I would change is the font, it had a shadow that made it difficult for me to read and I had to bring it close to my eyes to see better.

With vibrant illustrations and tongue-twisting alliteration, Blueberry-Blue Bubble is a laugh-out-loud story about a boy and his determination to blow the biggest, bounciest, blueberry blue bubble in the world. With each turn of the page, children are exposed to more words that begin with b and an animal that stands to get blue goo all over them if the bubble pops.

The pictures and story are simple, which would be great for toddlers and young children. This would make for a great educational book for units focusing on the letter B.

Thank you to NetGalley, BooksGoSocial and Carrie Sharkey Asner for an advance copy of this cute read.

Do you really want to blow that bubble any bigger? Are you sure? What if... oh boy what if... I think my students will love this quick read. They are obsessed with picture books at the moment with bright colors (even in 4th grade). This was a lot of fun. I love the repetition! It made for a fun book to even add music elements to as I read to them.

What a cute book! It's about a child blowing a bubble that just keeps getting bigger and bigger after a different animal asks for it to be bigger. My granddaughter had fun guessing which animal it was based on the sounds. The illustrations are whimsical and fun too! Kids 2-6 would like this book best!

Blueberry-Blue Bubble by Carrie Sharkey Asner was a huge hit for my littles, as they love to blow bubbles. We enjoyed the illustrations and all the animals throughout the story. That added such a fun aspect to the story for all of us. There isn't really much story to this but the alliterations about blowing bubble gum was fun and they kids have asked for another read already. A story that is fun and enjoyed all around is never a bad story.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the cute BBB BOOK

Blueberry-Blue Bubble is all about a child blowing a giant blue bubble.
The alliteration makes this book a great choice for teaching the letter B, and the descriptive words make for some fun sentences throughout the story.
The pictures and story are pretty simple , which I believe would be great for toddler age children.
The kid talks to several different animals and their sounds are also in the book for a bit of learning for younger children my 5 year old nephew will like this book.

I love the illustrations! And alliteration! But I especially love how, with every page, she adds a descriptor of the next animal based on what they're doing. I didn't realize this until the dog, but I love small things like that. Reminds me of the Arthur books that had mini scavenger hunts.~

This was a fun book, filled with some great alliterations. An interesting way to introduce this concept to young children.

The illustrations were whimsical and fun and I think you could challenge kids to say the alliterative sentences in one breath to make it even more fun.

The illustrations in this book caught my eye right away and were simple so it was not overstimulating. I liked how the bubble gum kept getting bigger and bigger with each animal reference- a silly book any young reader will like.

First and foremost, I would love to thank Net-Galley, the author, and publishers for allowing me the opportunity to obtain an ARC copy of this novel for my honest opinion and review.

I read this book with my 8 year old, who majorly assisted in the review of this novel.

We both absolutely loved the Illustrations and the story was adorable.

She loved the animal sounds that led to the next page with a new b word.

So cute!

I received a copy of this book through Netgalley. This is my honest review.

This book is reminiscent of Suess's B book, but about a boy blowing a blueberry bubble. Had I been trying to read it aloud I imagine it would have been quite the tongue twister for me. Thankfully I was just reading it to myself in my head so I didn't get tripped up on all the b's.

Unlike the B book, not all of the descriptors continued on to further pages (I don't think). Some seemed to be more page specific depending on who/what the boy was telling to look out because the characteristics of the bubble changed based on that info. It got bumpy for a frog for example.

The illustrations reflected the changes in the bubble's texture quite well, but could easily be missed if you're not paying attention. They were also very blue, as one would expect with a book of this title.

Overall I give this book 3.9 out of 5 stars.

A boy who make a bubble gum, catch a lot of animals, while he's singing a song.

Well it's easier to get it, so it's perfect to your child. Plus, It's interesting if your mother tongue it's not english and you wanna practice, whether you want to start practicing or not.
