Tara Nolan, I am IMPRESSED! This is the how-to guide that every DIY person needs! She provides complete directions for creating raised beds, including measurements and the types of wood. Better still, she provides many styles of plans for raised beds and also frames for cold weather. She even gives ideas for those who are handy with wood tools, although her recommendations are no more complicated than a circular saw.
This book makes the construction look so simple that I am inspired to try my own. Hardware store, here I come!

As someone who wants to make her living space a bit more homely and incorporate some color into their home this beginners guide to gardening was a must read. I really enjoyed the ideas, info, and easy steps to begin gardening. It has beautiful full color photographs and easy to follow steps to begin your gardening journey.
