When alcoholic housewife Julia begins to pack up her grandmother’s house, she unleashes a nightmare from her past, long buried in her memory: the spirit of a dead child with a story to tell.

With each visit from the malevolent wraith, her already-strained relationship with her husband intensifies, until he begins conspiring with Julia’s hated stepmother, Caroline, further dividing the couple.

When Julia discovers that her children’s lives are threatened, she begs for help from her ex-boyfriend Luke – the only one who believes what she’s saying. The two of them try to uncover the truth behind the apparition before she loses her family or her sanity.
