A fast-paced and plot-driven story that still manages to keep a moral centre and sends a positive message about contentment and learning from the consequences of your actions. The sci-fi elements are fun and exciting, and the drama is broken up with scenes that read like a travelogue. This would be a great book for any teen--or adult, for that matter--who dreams of travelling. Although I'm not so sure I'd want to do it via teleportation device!
