Joseph is fed up to the max with his cousin, Little Noodle. When he tries to get away from the spoiled little brat, Noodle goes missing. With Saygar's help Joseph and his friends set out to find Little Noodle. There is adventure at every turn in this mystery for early chapter readers. Just right for my third grade reader. Saygar the Detective is an ant and the best friend of Joseph, which when you think about it is really pretty cool. Saygar the Detective: The Case of the Missing Noodle is the third of the series, and it does not disappoint. Joseph’s little cousin, Little Noodle, keeps things really interesting for Joseph and his friends. Lots of unexpected challenges along the way keep them all on their toes. This is such a cute book. I enjoyed the story and the illustrations, and now I must go back and read ALL of the other books in the series. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to review this ARC.

Elizabeth Jurado does a great job in creating this children’s fiction novel. I enjoyed that the character we followed was an ant. The characters felt like they worked overall and enjoyed the fantastical elements of the story. It had a great detective element and left me wanting more.
