This book contains so many great questions! I feel like I've leveled up in life by doing the discovery work - finding my core values, identifying peak experiences, and then working to improve my life from there. This one's a fave among self-improvement books - encouraging, practical, and a good reference. Thanks for the ARC!

This is a super book for anyone who is thinking of embarking on changes in their life. It is a helpful resource to help find a purpose, rather than just a job, or unsatisfying career.

Vitally it considers happiness, and helps us work out what will make us happy. ~ there are exercises throughout the book to complete to deepen our knowledge about ourselves to help us find that once-elusive purpose.

The book is easy to read and engaging, with interesting anecdotes from the author. The author has clearly done their research and relevant studies are cited to heighten that air of authenticity.

I found this book to offer advice that I had not considered and as such it is a helpful resource and one that I would highly recommend to anyone considering a change to work, or their work-life balance.

My thanks to NetGalley, author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book in exchange for an advance copy.

Great strategies for developing your purpose. The author suggests the interconnection of passion, purpose, strengths and values. There are also great suggestions for exploring new hobbies, learning and balancing life and work in order to align your purpose.

The author Kevin Hall has done a brilliant job in justifying the title of the book “Find Your Purpose”. Often we become so confused as to what we should do with our lives, that it is the most asked question of people who are going through transitions. Transitions are a normal part of life, we go through it when we change jobs, houses, etc. In an excerpt, Kevin Hall says “Our lives are about our transitions, with occasional moments of stability in between for us to catch our breath”- Isn’t it true? If you look closely, we’re always going through transitions, and we have very little time in between to relax.

This book addresses all the issues that you face while you struggle to look for your purpose. It has several questions, on which you can journal and achieve clarity in life. When you are going to have a transition or want to change the quality of your life consciously, you might want to journal on the given questions, understand the quality of life you had before, and craft the required actions you might have to take to change yourself.

Unlike, any other self-help book, it will ask you to register for a course or workshop. That is helpful for those who want to interact more with the team behind this book, but it can get annoying for people who are here for the sole purpose of reading and applying the principles to their lives.

All-in-all it is a great book to read and journal on the questions given.

Finally! A self-help book that gives practical, actionable advice.

I picked this book up on a binge-session of self-help books (it's an addiction in itself) thinking it would be just another book about someone who was able to find meaning in their life and then 'jet off to the other side of the world to chase their newfound meaning'

Imagine my absolute shock when I found myself following the lessons in a practical manner and have now been able to clearly define my life purpose/s and apply them to every-day living; without having to leave my husband and kid!

Absolutely invaluable book for those wanting a practical approach to self-help.

This is actually a really good self-help book. If you do the exercises, you will get an idea of what is important to you and what makes you happy so you can focus on doing what makes you comfortable and happy.
It covers big things like values and small things like daily habits, because people take away their own joy and comfort in exchange for a perceived future benefit, when we don't need to. I'm going to be thinking about these ideas for a while, hopefully.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

I wish I had found a book like this when I was much younger and exploring job options.

I'm reevaluating my "bucket list" now as a senior. The exercises will help me answer the question, "who do I want to be when I grow up" besides just old.
