This step by step guide is super easy to follow and so adorable! I didn't realize there was "how to" books on this website and as someone who always like to practice there drawing and different drawing types, it was fun to explore. Even my 9 year old daughter enjoyed looking at the instructions. She will definitely be using after me.

I know I would have been thrilled with this book as a tween! And even now, it is a great resource to draw younger characters that actually look young, and not like squished versions of their adult counterparts.
I would have loved some more male characters and female characters who are not as girly. And some of those braided hairstyles were gorgeous, so I would have liked a tutorial to draw them as well.
All in all, great book and very enjoyable. Thanks for the ARC!

I asked for this manual because my 7-year-old daughter is crazy about drawing, especially those cool manga characters. The book has easy-to-understand language and colorful illustrations that make it perfect for kids. It's packed with lots of useful tips too. My little artist gives it a thumbs up!

I've been looking for a great manga drawing book to purchase for my library and this absolutely fits the bill. It's super cute and easy on the eyes so I imagine it will be engaging for middle school aged kids (and other novice sketchers, of course). It walks you through each part of drawing a kawaii-style manga character, from different kinds of eyes to mouth expressions, hair, and more, including how each kind gives off different vibes and can be used to show personality. Love it!

A really thorough step-by-step guide to drawing manga characters. My almost 10 year old daughter is fascinated by manga and anime and this book gives her plenty of ideas to try drawing. Not only is there full manga characters to copy but also facial expressions, manga eye examples, mouth expressions and different facial angles. A brilliant book for young artists who want to improve their manga drawing skills.
