The journey within the pages of this book is a transformative experience, revealing layers of depth and resilience in the characters. It's a celebration of the strength found within, and I appreciate how the narrative explores the characters' determination to be more than what life has handed them. This is a story that beautifully unfolds, encouraging readers to delve into the true magic within themselves. Aida's journey is not just about survival; it's about embracing personal power and evolving into something extraordinary.

The books starts out a bit confusing and slow, but if you can keep going for about 4 chapters, you gain a ton of understanding of the main character: Aida & even her history with her mother and sisters.

The writing is so vivid. The story is so good & I just love how this book is about reclaiming your power through the true magic (Ns) within you. I love how relatable the characters are; their fight to do more then just exist. Aida is more than just a survivor.

She proves to herself that she’s greater & that others will see her that way too. I would definitely read this book again & add this “series” (hopefully) to my favorites.

this uses the horror thriller element perfectly with the plot of this book. It had everything that I was looking for and had that tense atmosphere that I was looking for. The characters felt like this was a wonderfully done story and worked with telling a deeper story. G Q Smith writes a great overall story and characters, I'm excited to read more from this author.
