In 2021, Kacie decided to leave her life as a pro dancer in New York City and move to Italy – and she never looked back. Because life is too short not to.
In this joyful memoir, you will find:
Personal essays that tell Kacie’s story and empower you to challenge yourself
A candid outlook on life as an expat, covering everything from the terror of driving on Italian roads to the trials of speaking a new language and the genuine beauty of a slower pace of life

By sharing her personal stories of life under the Tuscan sun, Kacie explains how travel is a privilege, why cultural differences are the coolest things in the world, and how there's a positive you can take away from literally any situation. You Deserve Good Gelato will have you taking the leap and embracing this big beautiful world that we call home.

As someone who is in need of good wanderlust but unfortunately can’t travel at the moment this book was a fantastic way of not experiencing FOMO. Kacie takes you along for the ride and you get to live vicariously through her travels and experiences. A must read!

You Deserve Good Gelato by Kacie Rose. This is definitely a different genre than I normally read, but I’m so glad I read it. I’ve been following Kacie’s journey for a while now, and she’s such a genuine human!
What a great read, honestly, it was so inspirational. Not only does Kacie outline her experiences taking the leap and solo traveling, she discusses serious life lessons that can be crucial for happiness.
Doing shit that scares you, embracing help from others, brushing off judgements from others, etc. We all experience these things and it’s important to remember that at the end of the day if you’re who you want to be, that’s all that matters.
I truly appreciated her willingness to share her struggles, rather that be a language barrier or extreme homesickness. It shows that she is human with real emotions and so are you and I. Great great book!

I've been following Kacie's journey for a long time and was elated when I found out she had a book coming out! I did the audiobook version and read parts as well - it was exactly what I hoped for after being along for the ride for so long
Highly recommend!
