Such clever - and tasty - ways to entertain children. As a mom, I appreciate that the parts are edible, and that there is little risk of consuming something harmful. Very creative and imaginative!

I loved this book! All of the projects within it were easy to do and it would be very entertaining for young children, especially during a party or sleepover. The pictures need to be reformatted as several broke across pages, but that was the only major formatting error I saw.

This is the kind of book that I would have eaten up as an elementary-aged girl. Candy necklaces were a rare treat and I was always creating with my arts and crafts supplies. Putting the two together would have been an ultimate combination of fun.

Sharon's instructions are broken down step-by-step with plenty of photographs to help illustrate her directions. Some of the steps will require adult assistance, but most of the projects can be done independently. Most of the materials are edible; however, on occasion you will need to use string, foam, and other inedible items in the creation process. I would recommend that children be six and older when undertaking these projects, and to fully understand what can and cannot be ingested.

The finished projects are worthy of Pinterest and the young models are absolutely adorable as they show off their bling. Remind crafters that it is okay for their project to not turn out as perfectly as the ones in this book. (Just like we have to remind our grown-up selves the same as we find new projects on Pinterest.) The important part is having fun while making these!

I will admit that the thought of putting candy in a child's hair or on her face makes me a bit squeamish, as I think of the potential for a sticky mess and extra germs. Be sure to set some ground rules about the consumption of the jewelry. Also, find a safe way to store it, so that little critters aren't attracted to a sweet snack when the jewelry isn't being worn.

I can see this as being a great way to bond with your kids during a special mother-daughter day, or some great entertainment during a sleepover or playdate.

Given To Me For An Honest Review This book is for girls who love to make fun jewelry. It has examples to different Tiaras that can be made from jellybeans. The fun part is that after a tiara is made it can also be eaten. A fun book to create and then be able to have a snack afterward. I highly recommend it to all.

My first thought was of small children with sticky candy in their hair. My second thought was that my kids would love this book. And my third thought was, "Hey, I'm just the librarian. The sticky candy in the hair isn't my problem." This is the sort of book that can really switch on the kids's imagination. This is a definite must have for my library.

Most young girls would love the jewellery made from jellybeans and other sweets featured in this book - they'd particularly like eating them! There are simple projects, like rings, which require special bases to make them and others that use pretzels, dental floss, pipe cleaners and the like. A great way to have fun making things to wear - and eat.

I suspect this book will particularly appeal to people who like making things - and eating sweets! Beware if your princess, like mine, is allergic to egg as the majority of the creations use royal icing - hence only three stars as I wouldn't be able to use many of the ideas for her.

This book is perfect for a summer vacation read. I remember as a little girl running to the local corner store and buying those candy necklaces and bracelets and savouring every morsel as I enjoyed the taste and the crunch. This book will have your little princess in a state of ecstasy as she works through 24 jewelry-making projects that use candy as the creative building blocks. The author has included easy instructions and photos so that the design and process is extremely doable. Your little diva will be able to transform pretzels, jellybeans, gumdrops and other candies into wearable rings, bracelets, headbands, necklaces, and earrings just to name a few.

I think any little girl will love to read about and then create edible jewelery for herself and her friends. She can use these ideas at her birthday party, a sleepover or even at the cottage. Let's face it, an edible jewelry party with friends will be very awesome indeed and make her the most popular kid on the block. Some of the projects will require some help from an adult but most kids will find a way to make their creations unique and fun all on their own. The majority of the materials are edible, but sometimes string, foam, or other items are needed to complete the project. These crafts will appeal to kids in the age range of 6+. All in all, have fun bonding as you create "bling" things to show off to those around you. Go ahead....strut your stuff!!

Perfect for special times, holidays or sleepovers, this projects are easy, fun and delicious! Several of them could be adapted for boys old enough to want slightly more masculine items. Really fun little book.
