This is a stunningly illustrated poem about a fox.

Kids will enjoy the lyrical poem and the fun drawings.

It does make me think about how I have seen reports of foxes trying to domesticate themselves by approaching humans and trying to act like cats and dogs to get the same benefits of care.

This book is absolutely gorgeous!

The poem is a beautiful exploration of the life of a fox and the illustrations truly bring it to life for children. The book is elegant and beautiful with vivid, colorful illations that feel true to life without being too visually stimulating for young readers.

This would pair beautifully with a science unit focused on foxes, what a fantastic way to introduce poetry to children!

Most of the children's poetry books I've read contain rhyming which can be fun, but this book has a different poetic style. It exposes children to poetry outside of rhymes, which I think is nice. The book is both fun and calming to read because of this.

The artwork is absolutely beautiful. I think the soft colors make for a perfect fall read. The poetry is short and sweet, so kids can take the time to appreciate the art as well. It gets them to think about a fox's life and could be especially good for kids who are interested in art and animals.
