4.5 Stars! I loved this little novella of two antagonistic once-friends, almost-lovers, sort-of-enemies, all set in the gorgeous town of Magnolia Bay in the midst of Christmas.

Full of holiday cheer, snarky exchanges, enough baked goodies to make your mouth water and even a few sexy pirates, this novella is light-hearted, fluffy fun. The slow, wary dance these two act out makes for compelling reading, and okay, there might have been a few jolting moments when decisions are made, revelations are discovered and troubles arise, but the ending! Oh! Logan wins all the prizes for this one. He's sexy and sweet, and he's nice to his mother - no wonder the bidding runs so high on him.

Adorable and enjoyable, read it as a festive treat for yourself. It will make you smile, possibly swoon, and might even make you a little bit jealous about not having a flotilla of sexy pirates to turn on your Christmas lights. Magnolia Bay has me hooked - it's just as much fun as Marietta.

The perfect recipe: love-hate relationship + likeable characters + a little drama. This all leads to a sweet story focusing on Logan and Miranda who have quite a history of driving each other crazy. Perfect read for Christmas!

A romantic comedy, “Just in Time for Christmas” by Kim Boykin just makes you feel and see the magic of Christmas.

Miranda Hamilton and Logan Mauldin have known each other since they were in grade school. And though they were never childhood sweethearts, there has always been a spark between them since high school, but they never acted on it.

Now adults, they can no longer deny the attraction. The question is, will they take it seriously or brush it off like they did when they were in college?

“Just in Time for Christmas” is Rated T for Teen. There are no sex scenes though the characters danced around it.

*** I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review ***
Just in Time for Christmas is the second book in the Southern Born Christmas series and I really enjoyed reading it.
Miranda loves Christmas and she's so happy when she gets a chance to chair Magnolia Bay's tree lighting and the cotillion, which benefits her late mother's breast cancer foundation.

Miranda has many ideas how to raise more money and have better events this year but when Logan donate a lot of money to her late mother's foundation, he become a co-chair of the Christmas committee she is very upset and mad about is since Miranda and Logan are like water and oil, they just don't get along.

One of the committee members offer to have a bachelor auction in order to raise more money and soon Logan's has the highest bidding price and Miranda find herself bidding for him and she tells herself that the reasons she is bidding on Logan is to increase the big and in order for her enemy Pammy not to be the highest bidder but the truth is that she is attracted to Logan and doesn't want him to go on a date with someone else.

Logan is also attracted to Miranda but she's not willing to admit how she really feels for him and to give a real chance to a relationship between them.

I really enjoyed reading about Logan and Miranda, they know one another for many years and what seems like hate between them is actually love but it's not going to be easy for Logan to make Miranda see him as a serious guy that is truly in love with her and not just looking to tease and mock her like they used to when they were younger.

I love reading about love hate a relationship and Logan and Miranda had a long history of getting on one another's nerve over the years but it turns out that there is a fine line between love and hate.

Just in Time for Christmas was a funny, sweet and heartwarming holiday novella that I really enjoyed reading

Once again I have fallen in love with Magnolia Bay, loved all the traditions and the festival. I felt like I could close my eyes and see everything that Kim was telling us about. Logan and Miranda, loved the chemistry between them, such a spark.
"The festival isn't about taking Christ out of Christmas, John. It's just a fun way to honor our towns history and light the town Christmas tree." So very true Kim Boykin.

Logan Mauldin has been in love with Miranda Hamilton since he was a little kid, unfortunately he's a guy and as he so aptly puts it in the book "his stupid guy logic is well, stupid" and he manages to screw up his chance with Miranda.

Now in his 30's he wants a chance to show Miranda he really loves her and he'll do it by any means necessary, even giving her her Christmas miracle; a white Christmas.

Miranda likes Logan, too bad she doesn't want to; they've had a love-hate thing going on forever and it seems to work fine; but hey, it's Christmas and next to Valentine's day, it's the second most romantic holiday.

The story is light and sweet and enjoyable holiday read. The characters are likeable and amusing and there is even a little drama thrown in there for good measure, so you will really enjoy the story.

Just in Time for Christmas is the second book in the Southern Born Christmas series and I really enjoyed reading it. The story is a sweet and enjoyable holiday read – just in time for Christmas.

Miranda loves Christmas and it is her favorite time of year. She is very happy when she gets a chance to chair Magnolia Bay's tree lighting and the cotillion, because it benefits her late mother’s breast cancer foundation and that means a lot to her. She has many ideas that will help raise more money for the foundation BUT when she receives an unwanted co-chair, she is very upset.

Logan donated a lot of money to the foundation and won himself a seat on the committee as co-chair. A committee member suggest a bachelor auction to help raise money for the foundation and soon Logan finds himself as one of the bachelor’s up for auction. Miranda finds herself bidding for him, but she tells herself that the reason she is bidding on Logan is to increase the bids and in order for her arch nemesis not to be the highest bidder, but the truth is that she is attracted to Logan and doesn't want him to go on a date with someone else.

Miranda and Logan have been attracted to each other for years. Logan wants to make Miranda see him as a guy that is truly in love with her and not just teasing her like he used to when they were younger and Miranda is not willing to admit how she really feels for Logan – especially since he was the one to give her her first real kiss..

Just in Time for Christmas is part of the Southern Born series, which has been a great discovery for me. This second book in the series is one of my favorites. Long-term crushes, misunderstandings and a meddlesome third party are all part of the delightful story. I wanted Logan and Miranda to work out the differences that had been between them since they were teenagers. I couldn’t stand Pammy any more than Miranda could. In fact, she may have been more tolerate of her than most would have been.

As you can tell, the author wrote so that the reader could not help but become emotionally involved in the outcome of these characters’ lives. Just in Time for Christmas is a wonderful Southern story that I loved; filled with endearing characters, dramatic conflict and a happily ever. It’s not too long of a read perfect for this hectic holiday season but a still very satisfying story.

This is the first book that I have read by this author but now I have gone back and bought two previous ones. What can I say; Kim Boykin is a great author that I have newly discovered.

This was a sweet little novella with a nice Christmas theme. It's hard to develop full characters in this amount of space but it was done here nicely. A quick holiday 'by the fireplace' read.

Wonderful story! Miranda and Logan have known each other their whole lives. He has always had feelings but the timing was never right. To get close to Miranda, Logan buys his way on to the Cotillion committee she is currently chairing. Although Miranda tries to resist, sparks fly!

This is a very well written story with characters that are entertaining and heartwarming. I highly recommend this one.

Miranda Hamilton has a love-hate relationship with Logan Mauldin. Ever since that game of Seven Minutes In Heaven when they were 13, the two have had their ups and downs, and it's been mostly down since their college days. So when Logan steps up to be be Miranda's co-chair of the Magnolia Bay Holiday Festival, she's none too happy.

Logan would like nothing better than to kiss Miranda under the mistletoe. He's gone so far as to volunteer to co-chair the annual holiday festival, just so that he can get closer to her. Because he's liked Miranda for a very long time, and is determined to make her admit that she feels the same. He'll do anything to win her over, even make Miranda's Christmas miracle come true.

I love a book that puts me in the mood for the holidays, and JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS is a cute and enjoyable read that does just that. Kim Boykin writes what she knows, being a Southern girl herself, and her depiction of small-town life in Magnolia Bay is both evocative and endearing. She's done a nice job, too, of writing characters that are full of personality, like Miranda and Logan, Logan's brothers and mother, the Six Chicks (Miranda's six besties), and Pammy, Miranda's arch-nemesis. I recommend this sweet and sassy book, and give it four stars for helping get my Christmas season off to a romantic start.

JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS is the perfect holiday novella. I found myself laughing out loud and yet, cheering for Logan and Miranda. The banter between the two of them is priceless and at times, you just want to shake some sense into them. Kim Boykin is a favorite author of mine and she knows how to pull you in and get you emotionally invested in her stories. Her descriptions of small southern town life is spot on of course, as she is a southern girl herself. Miranda's journey to discovering her true feelings is heartwarming and Logan's Christmas gift to her is the icing on the cake. If you are looking for a warm holiday story, you will love the feeling JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS will leave you with.

"Just In Time For Christmas"

What I liked about this novel.....

This was a wonderful captivating Christmas story that was second in this author's series that I really enjoyed reading, The way this author was able to bring out Magnolia Bay's history along with its Christmas traditions was really very interesting read. "Just In Time For Christmas" was a very entertaining story that had a lots of humor that greatly added to the story. What will happen when these two main characters Miranda and Logan have to work together in the Christmas Cotillion fundraising project? There seems to have been a love hate relationship between these two since childhood. Why was this? Well, you will have to pick up the good read to see how this author will bring it all out to the reader. Was Logan now having feeling for Miranda after all of this time? Will Christmas bring these two together? I liked how this author was able to give the reader one amazing read with such heartwarming and entertaining characters that you will not want to put the novel down until you are finished seeing how maybe fairy tales could come true? All that is left to say is after reading this novel you will want to visit Magnolia Bay at Christmas time.

This Christmas novella is the 2nd in a series and there are plenty of people in the small southern town for more books. Miranda and Logan were friends when they were young and now Logan has decided he's been in love with her forever. He buys his way into her life by serving on the Christmas committee she runs for her mother's cancer charity. There are several misunderstanding but it's Christmas and a love story so things turn out.

I just really love cute, warm Christmas stories. There is something about stories like this that I really love when the couple grew up disliking each other. It's so cliche, but I fall for it every single time!

Cute, simple second chance story. Set during Christmas gave us a fun story about pirates bringing Christmas and a modern day bachelor auction to raise money for a specific charity. There weren't any surprises and reading the other books is not necessary.
