Author Bios:

Here Comes the Egg is the brainchild of Dr. Kris R. Nielsen and Dr. Patricia D. Galloway, of Pegasus Global Holdings, Inc. Their company, based at Unionville Ranch in Cle Elum, Washington, USA, oversees some of the largest national and international building projects to manage the successful completion of each.Dr. Kris R. Nielsen, an internationally respected engineer earned The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) highest award, The Outstanding Projects and Leaders Award (OPAL) for his pioneering the advancements of risk management in the construction industry. Kris was an innovator and explorer having traveled to over 100 countries.

While brilliant in his work, he was also brilliant in his ability to make children and adults alike laugh with his various tongue twisters, including the poem that inspired Here Comes the Egg. He loved life and never stopped living it to the fullest. Kris shared his experiences and laughter with everyone he met despite a 2 year battle with cancer that ended in 2013 with his passing.

Dr. Patricia D. Galloway still resides at Unionville Ranch where she diligently continues the legacy Kris left behind. She accomplishes this through her efforts as President and CEO of Pegasus Global Holdings and as the President and CEO of the charitable non-profit, the Kris Nielsen and Patricia Galloway Foundation she and Kris set up before the passing of Dr. Nielsen. Part of the proceeds from HereComes the Egg will be donated directly to this foundation in order to bring awareness to and help fund research in combining science and engineering with the important aspects of social management systems.

Both Dr. Nielsen and Dr. Galloway have had work published in several books, forwards and chapters in different publications including a combined effort in writing “ Managing Gigaprojects-Advice From Those Who Have Been There, Done That ,” ASCE Press, Reston, VA American Society of Civil Engineers, 2013. They have run various seminars and webinars, conducted speaking engagements, and have won over twenty awards between the two of them in recognition of their efforts in the fields of engineering, construction management and arbitration.

Very cute book

Review will be posted June 26 Here comes the egg is a counting book with many hidden images. There are lots and lots of things to look for besides just reading the text. There are numbers on the pages in different languages - 12 languages to be exact. (The book can teach you to count to 12 in 12 languages!) and there are some tongue twisters included and all the answers to everything are in the back of the book - but I'd recommend that you read it through the first time - the second time start looking for things and maybe go through it a 3rd or 4th time before looking at the answer key to make sure you've had a chance to take it all in!

I received an e-copy of this book in exchange for this review.
