The newest book in the Lola series has two new life events for our main character: a new baby and a new house. This story focuses on packing, and planning the move, as well as anticipating the new location. Lola and Leo are perfect for young children who are learning about their world. I love these books, and recommend this one for schools and libraries.

This is the first of the Lola Books that I've read. Anna McQuinn's text and storytelling is very engaging, soft and feels like a warm hug. Moving can be difficult for not just kids but the parents too. This is a wonderful book to talk about the possibilities of experiencing new things in a new place and also how to go about packing your life and things in many boxes. I learned about using stickers for packing and I will use it the next time I have to move!

Rosalind Beardshaw's illustrations are beautiful, colorful, so soft and expressive! They make the story and the book complete.

Lola's Moving Day is about Lola and her growing family as they prepare to move into a larger space and her mum gets ready to have another baby!

I must admit my family's favourite part of the book was the beautiful illustrations! We loved the way that Lola looks after her little brother and helps her parents with the packing in her own little way.

The story was tender, moving, relatable, funny, and cute. The book was the perfect length to keep the kids entertained whilst not being "too much" in the way that many kids books are these days. I didn't realise that Lola's book is part of a series which I will be getting to continue enjoying lovely Lola's stories.

Moving day is stressful for adults, but what is it like for children? This delightful picture book follows a family who is moving to a bigger place to prepare for a new baby. Little Lola is stressed by the changes around her. Throughout this story, her mom helps her to see that moving, while stressful, can be exciting and full of possibilities. The illustrations are full of details, and readers will sink into the story to see how Lola handles the changes ahead.

The Lola Reads book series continues to be a family favorite. In this story, Lola leads us through the steps of her family moving to a bigger home because *surprise* they have a new sibling on the way. Anna McQuinn’s writing is so sweet and realistic while Rosalind Beardshaw’s illustrations are gorgeous as alwayss
