Two worlds. One accidental hit song. The stage is set for the ultimate showdown.
Jamie Keaton is a rock star with a reputation as fiery as her songs. Clayton Langley is a country singer who epitomizes Southern charm.
Their paths were never supposed to cross—let alone collide—but when a chance encounter forces them to collaborate on a song, she’s suddenly thrust into his universe of cowboy boots and steel-string guitars.
As old resentments and undeniable chemistry simmer beneath the surface, Jamie must decide whether to embrace the unfamiliar world she’s been dragged into—or to stoke the fire of their rivalry and watch everything burn.

I absolutely loved this book — it was beautifully written and kept me hooked the entire time. Clayton and Jamie’s story was heartfelt and believable, with so much chemistry and depth in their relationship. I really enjoyed how their characters grew together and how their challenges were handled with care.
The supporting characters and the overall atmosphere added so much charm to the story. I’m so glad I chose this, and I can’t wait to read more from this author. Highly recommend to anyone who loves a well-crafted romance with genuine emotion!

I loved this book! It was laugh-out-loud funny—especially for an enemies-to-lovers romance—and the banter was chef’s kiss. And Clayton? Total swoon. 100% my type of man. The writing was sharp, the pacing was perfect, and even though it was a long read, it never once dragged. I didn’t want it to end. Huge thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

First reviewwww!! I absolutely loved this book! As someone who’s been sticking to the fantasy genre, this was such a refreshing change of pace and I was hooked from the very first page. The writing is fast-paced, easy to sink into, and kept me invested the wholeeee way through. (Also it was lowkey giving Ella Langley and Riley Green if Riley Green actually liked Ella🤣)
Clayton (mmc), is such a sweetheart, and Jamie (fmc) is a spitfire. Together, their chemistry is everything you could want in a slow-burn romance. I also ADORED the side romance between Clayton’s brother and Jamie’s assistant?? Hunter is spoiling us with the romanceee💘
Honorable mention to all country and pop culture references sprinkled throughout. It gave the story such a fun, down-to-earth vibe.
This was such a cute and heartwarming read, perfect for anyone who loves romance and country music with lovable characters.

Such a fantastic read. I couldn't put it down! Jaime, a well-known Rock & Roll singer, and Clayton, a Country legend, share a manager and start the book at a benefit concert. The two of them can't get along due to some history between them as well as their respective plus ones. However, starting off a new year but collaborating on a song pushes the two of them together in a way that neither of them saw. Can the two of them work past and get to be friends and possibly even more?

Gone Country
Hunter Snow
Shut in the south, we’ve got Jamie (who sings rock) and Clayton (who sings Country) they are so different on almost all fronts.
Clayton radiates his southern charm, and Jamie is the total opposite. They are set to sing a duet. Jamie is thrown into an everything country from cowboy boots to steel string guitars. They are so opposite, but it seems Jamie feels like she’s been thrown into this situation.
Can they overcome the angst between them or given in to the chemistry between them? That’s so obvious.
You have to read this rivalry between them or can they overcome this and given to all these feelings that are undeniable?
A very enjoyable read. Hunter really did it on this one to bring together. Such opposites was an amazing task, but she did it in such an eloquent way.

Gone Country is such a great read. Clayton (Country) and Jamie (Rock) are enemies from the start. Their paths collide in such a way that changes both their lives. What happens next is anyone’s guess. This book captured me from the start. Clayton and Jaime are characters that I liked from the start and their story was so good. The pace of the book was perfect, not too slow and not too fast. Firstly, thank you Hunter & @netgalley for the ARC 👐📚
He’s country, she’s rock and roll. Both music artists.
Forced proximity on tour.
And one accidental collaboration turns into a hit song. 🎶
Loved this one! So much fun 🤩
Perfect for those that like a rockstar/music romance but also a good ol’ cowboy romance. 💕
AND PUPPIES!!!!! 🐶
Slowwwww burn. I loved the way their relationship panned out. They hate each other and ignore what they have between them. When they realise how they feel about each other … sparks truely fly. ✨
This felt very unique!!
Loved the whole thing — beginning to end!!
Definitely recommend — out Aug 12th! 👖👢👠🎸

I’m a sucker for enemies-to-lovers tropes, and this book absolutely delivered. I do wish Clayton’s (MMC) chapters were a bit longer — I loved his perspective and wanted more of it. Jamie (FMC) frustrated me in a few parts, but it honestly made her growth feel more authentic in the end. And can we talk about the side romance between Jamie’s assistant, Ruth, and Clayton’s brother, Nolan? So adorable! ☺️

I’m a music lover as well as a book lover & love a good rockstar romance. I’m always looking out for new books & new authors with these themes so was instantly drawn to this book. I liked the sound of it & decided to take a chance on this new author to me - & am so glad I did.
Jamie is a pop / rock star & Clayton is a country singer, both at the top of their game. Sharing a manager & publicist they’re asked to work together whilst they’re both in Nashville. There is some history between them. Neither knows much about the other’s music & genre; Jamie in particular is adamant in her dislike of country music & of Clayton in particular for a past incident. Clayton is attracted to Jamie, but quickly realises how easy it is to tease her, & delights in doing so. Sparks soon fly! Despite their differences, they find that they work well together & write good songs together, which helps deepen both the tension & the friendship. His particular brand of southern charm is gorgeous, but just doesn’t work on her.
I loved the way that music is at the heart of this story; it’s an essential part of each of the main characters, drawing them together & providing the context in which their friendship & working relationship develop. I loved the way the author integrates the fictional & the real world of music, & if country music in particular with references to just enough real life country stars to give context to the story, which I really appreciated. The musical references helped me imagine the kind of music Clayton & Jamie performed individually & together, & sent me off to listen to some of the songs referenced in the story - including a particular favourite of mine - “Shut up and kiss me”. I’d love it if the author could produce a track list to go with this book.
I really enjoyed this book. It’s a great story with main characters who are believable & likeable, & a superb supporting cast with Clayton’s family, especially his twin daughters, & their dogs. There’s some lol moments, & I read this with a smile on my face. I can’t wait to read more by this author.
With thanks to the author & Netgalley for the opportunity to read an ARC of this gorgeous book.

This is a very good enemies to lovers slow burn romance. Jaime is a rock n roll princess in Nashville for a fundraiser. Clayton is a country star who is brash and outspoken. On the night of the fundraiser, where they are both performing and both a bit drunk, he kisses her as the show ends. She doesn't react well. while both working on albums, he convinces her to go to a Nashville bar to test out the reaction to a song they are working on. It goes viral and the fun begins. A very funny read as they work he way from enemies to lovers.

This book was the absolute cutest!
Country star Clayton is all charm and wholesome sexiness, and he has the world eating out of his hand. Which annoys rock star tough girl Jamie to no end, and boy does he get under her skin. When they accidentally collaborate on a song and go viral, a whole new world opens up for both, and they’re thrown together for PR, performances, and all the fun.
Clayton was my dream MMC—a genuine sweetheart of a man and single dad who loves his family to no end. Jamie’s had it rough, with no family to speak of and no one she can count on. She’s learned to build up walls to defend herself and can be prickly, but Clayton’s dead set on getting her to let him in, even if it takes a while. And their chemistry? Soooooo good! Banter? Even better! Side characters? Adorable. There was such a nice mix of sweetness with some edginess mixed in too. And I’m not always a southern drawl kind of girl but boy did I love Clayton’s dialogue. And the puppies!!!
I had the best time with this book and highly recommend it.
