We all know of the great business minds that generated and accumulated wealth equivalent to countries in our world. We also know of social activists who dedicated their lives for the cause they believed in with an aim to make our society just and equal. However, only a few know of the champions of creativity and imagination who are changing the world one person and one idea at a time.

The Creative Activist is the story of these people. A story that exhorts readers to believe in their creative potential and the ability to change the world, even if they are alone in their vision.
In The Creative Activist, Rae Luskin talks about people who made their dreams a reality, even when they were the only ones believing in their dreams. Ordinary people who made small changes and took up little causes to create a big impact on other people’s lives and communities.

The book is a collection of stories of these people aimed to inspire you to do that what is most important to you. It might not be that easy to answer what is our purpose on this earth or what is the purpose of our life. But no mater what you do or do not do, you will change the world you live in.

Whatever you do, it is important to strive to leave the things that you have in a better state. In Lead With Legacy, the author shares stories of activists who strive to improve their community by making a difference in other people’s life.

Death and the subject of death is a taboo for many. Most people avoid talking about death all their life, and when the time comes for them or a loved one, they freeze. Stacey Canfield helps people deal with loss. She strives to fill the void and emptiness people feel when they are closer to death and tries to make their lives meaningful.

Imagination has always been the prompt for innovation. With our world looking desperately for innovative ideas that can give the industry its next big revolution, creativity has taken a center stage in every profession. In Discover the Creative Edge, the author shares stories of people who are running creativity workshops and working on tools that will help others bring back that childlike curiosity that filled you with wonder and made you ask questions. Cory Wright is an educator and organizes Creative Leadership America conferences. These conferences share the creativity mindset and equip the attendees with tools and skill set to spark the creativity bug.

Apart from these and other inspiring stories of people, each of the subjects also share their insight on how you can cultivate the same creative approach in your daily life.

No matter what you think is your calling or that nagging feeling at the end of the day that won’t go away, The Creative Activist will inspire you to follow that feeling, nurture it, and will give you the courage and tools to fulfill your creative dream.

Creativity is not just composing a sonnet or writing the next bestseller, creativity is also breaking away from the routine and inspiring others to do the same to solve everyday problems and challenges.

From an anthology book, I am happy even if two or more hit the mark. The book would have left an effect on the reader. With the Creative Activist too, the passion of the contributors and the change they brought about is going to stick with you and prod you to do something only you can your way. The interview format worked well.
