The Monster in Marie’s Head is an engaging story about a little girl learning to face and overcome her anxious thoughts. Through playful rhymes and relatable scenarios, Marie struggles with her “monster” until she learns to give it a name and take away its power. What I really appreciated was how the book mixes fun storytelling with practical tools—like the activities at the end—that kids and parents can actually use. I enjoyed reading it because it didn’t just tell a sweet story, it also gave me new ideas for how to help children talk about their worries in a way that feels approachable and empowering.

💭 Monsters in your head? Pfft—meet Marie, she’s got one too, and she shows us how to kick him to the curb! This book is a clever mix of giggles, rhymes, and those “oh wow, that’s so true” moments kids (and adults) will totally relate to. I loved how it turned worries into something you can actually see, name, and laugh at—because sometimes that’s exactly what we need. If you’ve got a little one who wrestles with big feelings, trust me, this story is like a secret weapon disguised as a bedtime book. 🐉✨
