This was a 45 page sampler of The Mindful Kitchen Map by Tomaso Mannu. The goal of the mindful kitchen is to break down your kitchen into key areas and discover new ways to organize and maximize time and flavor. I really appreciated Mannu's approach in helping the reader to find empowerment in their kitchen and to guide & teach them how to create their own vegan staples.
This is not a typical cookbook with a bunch of recipes compiled. This is more an adaptable guide, designed to be revisited and changed to fit your needs. I appreciate that the author mentions that the tools in this guide have been shaped by neurodivergence as well.
This sampler may have just convinced me to invest in a home mill. I had no idea how many vegan flour variations there were.
The recipes in this sampler have great instructions and images. I appreciated the "Mindful Benefit" listed on some of the recipes.
I honestly can't wait to purchase the full book. Coming out 9/9/2025!
Thank you to NetGalley & Watkins Publishing for the sampler eARC in exchange for an honest review.
