Milo’s Pet Problem is a delightful story about one boy’s hilarious quest to find the perfect pet in the wild. From prickly hedgehogs to a very stinky skunk, Milo’s determination leads him through laugh-out-loud encounters that young readers will love. The story balances humor with a gentle lesson about curiosity and patience, making it a joy to read aloud. I especially enjoyed how each “wrong pet” moment built up to a sweet surprise ending that left me smiling. It’s a charming tale that kids will want to hear again and again.

Ever thought a hedgehog, a raccoon, or even a skunk could make the perfect pet? Yeah, Milo did too—and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride watching him figure out that maybe Mom was right. 😂 This book is straight-up fun: silly, sweet, and the kind of story kids will beg to read out loud (again and again). I loved it because it’s not just funny—it sneaks in a little lesson about determination without ever feeling “teachy.” If you want giggles at storytime, this is the one. 🦔🐾

I love the graphics in this book, so life like and the story had a great lesson to go along with it. My daughter thought it was funny and we will definitely have this one on the re-read list.
