Welcome to year two at Weatherstone College…

There’s a bond between us that I can’t explain, but I just know he’s hiding something. Maybe I don’t fully trust any spellcaster, but there’s no denying my draw to him.

As the final book in the series, Night Witch is exactly the kind of ending fans hope for big, emotional, chaotic in the best way, and completely satisfying.

This book raises the stakes higher than ever. Everything the series has been building toward secrets about the supernatural world, the true strength of the main character, and the complicated alliances between witches and other supernatural beings finally explodes into the spotlight. The battles feel bigger, the magic is darker, and every decision carries real consequences.

One of the best parts of this finale is watching the heroine fully step into her power. Over the course of the series she’s grown from someone trying to survive a dangerous world into someone capable of changing it. In Night Witch, that evolution pays off in a huge way. She’s still sarcastic and stubborn, but now she’s also confident and formidable.

The emotional payoff is also strong. Long-running tensions between characters finally resolve, relationships reach their breaking points or their happiest moments, and the story doesn’t shy away from the sacrifices required to win. It feels like the author carefully tied together the threads that have been weaving through the series since book one.

The action is intense, the twists keep coming, and the ending delivers that rare combination of closure and lingering magic that makes you both satisfied and a little sad the journey is over.

Returning to Weatherstone College was such a wild ride, and Logan Kingston… wow. He’s the perfect mix of dangerous, sexy, and mysterious, and the tension between him and the main character had me absolutely hooked.
The romance is dark, forbidden, and electric every scene with Logan had me swooning, gasping, and lowkey yelling at the page. I loved the mix of sexy moments, dirty talking, and tension that kept me on edge the entire time.

Beyond the romance, the magic and Dark Academia vibes were so immersive. The danger, secrets, and twists made the story feel intense and unpredictable, and I was fully invested in every character and plot turn.

This was dark, sexy, thrilling, and completely addictive. If you love forbidden romance with magic, tension, and a swoon-worthy bad boy, this one is absolutely for you.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

I have been FERAL for the Spellcaster sequel and it did NOT disappoint. The way I devoured this book. The story flowed so seamlessly that I flew through it, completely wrapped up in the world and its characters. The bond and passion between Paisley & Logan is so strong, which makes the spicy scenes soooo HOT. The vibes are absolute PERFECTION!!

Logan. Freaking. Kingston.
Top tier book husband material.
The way he showers Paisley with words of affirmation.
The way he takes care of her. Worships her. Devours her.
I couldn’t flip pages fast enough.
I didn’t want it to end.
BRAVO JAYMIN QUEEN EVE, BRAVO.

I truly loved every second I got to spend in this world with these characters and I’m sad it’s over!

This book had be entranced from start to finish. I love Paisley and Logan even more. From all that tension and bickering in book one, these two have a powerful bond that goes deeper than magic. This story was so fun to read. Full of romance & mate bonds, mysterious magic & monsters, found family and really fun side characters that you’ll fall in love with. This duet was perfection and I hope to get more from this world!

Thank you so much to Mira/HarperCollins for the advanced reader copy of this book. All opinions are my own, and VERY freely given.

If I could give this book 6-stars, a million stars, I would. I laughed, I cried, I fell in love. This book healed parts of me I didn’t know needed to be healed.

I’m not actually sure where to start, because this book has rewritten the fabric of my soul. It has everything, EVERYTHING I’ve ever wanted:

-Witches
-Magical school/academy
-A love so deep and pure that it feels too good to be true, but isn’t
-Masked men (YEP)
-Men who play guitars
-Sisterhood
-Found family (and blood family)
-Curses

This book delves more into the actual magic, magical abilities, etc. it’s fascinating and I haven’t ever read of abilities like this before. I love the way Jaymin Eve has built this lore and explained it - because it just makes sense.

More than that, it tackles real issues - when you disappoint family, how you rebuild fractured relationships, forgiveness, grief, loss, sadness, hurt. While these don’t seem “frilly,” they’re part of real life. Fantasy novels are supposed to be obviously not real, but with elements that hold a mirror up to our everyday lives, highlighting the saw emotions we feel.

Night Witch also shows the beautiful side of life - love, passion, loyalty, support, healing. I didn’t realize all of these elements would be included in this book, and I love it.

The majority of this book doesn’t really center around Weatherstone College. Our main characters face adventures and travels around the world. However, the ending takes place there and is explosive.

Jaymin Eve also explores how prejudices taint our society and fear causes people to lash out, in irredeemable ways. It’s a warning to listen, to learn, and to not act out hatred, fear, and/or ignorance.

This book is more than a fantasy or romantasy book. It’s an exceptional conversation about our societies and how we can be better humans - as demonstrated by fictional, and exceptionally hot, witches and warlocks.

For those of you concerned, don’t worry, this book is SPICY AND IT IS TOO GOOD. Too. Good. Pantingly good.

After reading this book, I can’t wait to go back and re-read Spellcaster, because there are some really important moments that I didn’t realize were as poignant as they are - in a good way! I fully intend to read Spellcaster and then reread Night Witch, when my physical copy arrives (yes, I preordered and paid for Night Witch, prior to receiving the eARC. After reading, I will absolutely still be paying for a physical copy. It’s more than a shelf-trophy. It’s about to become part two of one of my favorite book series ever written. Full. Stop.)

I am so honored to have been an early reader of this book. Thank you a million times over. I hope, if you’re still reading this, you pick up and love this series as much as I do.

𝑁𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑊𝑖𝑡𝑐ℎ was pure fun from start to finish. Highly entertaining, packed with great banter, and dripping in vibes I couldn’t get enough of.

The saga continues with year two at Weatherstone College, and I loved every minute of it. We see Paisley and Logan navigating the complexities of their bond, along with sweet glimpses into their shared childhood (cue the aww moments 💞). Paisley continues to grapple with her rare affinity while uncovering how to break a deadly curse that threatens not only her, but her entire family.

Logan, our sexy, tattooed, devastatingly powerful warlock with spellcaster magic, is utterly flawless in this sequel. He definitely gives off intense “burn the world down for her” energy, with just a hint of sexy stalker vibes, and their chemistry is absolutely 🥵. I also loved seeing his rock band side shine in this book, and the way their powers seem to call to each other was everything.

There were so many laugh-out-loud moments and genuinely relatable scenes throughout, making this an easy recommendation for romantasy fans.

What I love most about this author is how effortlessly immersive her worlds are. Every story is filled with sharp banter, layered characters, and emotional depth that makes each interaction feel meaningful. This is the ninth book I’ve read by Jaymin Eve, and I can’t wait to get lost in many more of her stories.

did i finish this book or did it finish me??? omg that was such an amazing ending to this story and i loved every single second of it. i found myself putting it down just so i didn't finish it too fast because i loved it so much. i wanted to savor every single second of paisley and logan. this story was written so well and i loved how much growth my girl pais had throughout the story. logan was so so good, like good lord could he get any hotter. when the issues that arose came into play, logan and paisley handled them like such boss's and i was shocked quite a few times with how they played out. when i tell you that you need to read this series i am not joking, it was a 10/10 for me so make sure you go read book one and preorder this one because you will not regret it!!! thank you so much for the early copy and i am forever grateful to have gotten to fall in love with paisley and logan, and the rest of their found family!

WHAT DID I JUST READ?! I’m absolutely wrecked that this series is over. Jaymin Eve wrapped it up in the most satisfying, emotional, and spicy way possible. Logan and his pet names? Perfection. And, Paisley, the growth she’s had throughout this series is everything.

That twist at the end?! I’m still recovering. The balance of action, heart, and heat was spot on, and the spice? Chef’s kiss.

Honestly, I’m not ready to leave this world. I’d happily devour spinoffs about the side characters because I need more of them in my life. Let’s keep it going, Ms. Eve… I’m not ready to leave this world just yet!

Night Witch is a fantastic follow up to Spellcaster. With mysterious witch powers, action, found family, and a hot alpha wizard who keeps handing over his clothes, Jaymin Eve writes a satisfying conclusion to this impossible to put down duet.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Night Witch picks up right where Spellcaster left off. This series should be read in order, and the books form a wonderful duet. I won’t give away too many plot details, but Paisley comes to terms with her magical affinity and her bond with Logan. And, they manage to get in plenty of romance while fighting the magical establishment.

For all the time Paisley and Logan spent bickering and not trusting each other in the first book, they are both all in now. Logan shows a sweeter side to his powerful spellcaster this time around, and forced proximity abounds. I love that they get to spend so much time together on page while puzzlingly out the mysteries around them. Their found family, along with Paisley’s parents and siblings, is fantastic. And don’t worry, there are plenty of sizzling hot scenes too.

I don’t know how I got lucky enough to stumble across this book on NetGalley so early, but I snatched it up and had to read it immediately. And read the entire book in a day. I was so happy to be back in this world with these characters!

Night Witch is the perfect follow up to Spellcaster. If you like sizzling stories where the witches figure out how to save the world and themselves, read this series!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
