What a fun book for little ones! The illustrations are beautiful and I love how different families and cultures are represented and the rhymes were so fun to read. I think this would be a great way of introducing children to new, healthy foods! Really beautifully done!
The title say it all. This book is all about healthy foods, specifically veggies and fruits that kids should eat. I like how the author pointed our the weird names of the foods in this book. The are is good, not too flashy just enough for the simplicity of the book.
I love that this book talked about all different kinds of food that is healthy and not just fruit and veggies. This would be perfect to introduce new foods to littles but reading the book and having a sampling party. I also liked that there were suggestions at the end for conversation starters. As a mom to three littles it is so important that they are hearing about healthy food and how food can be used to make us strong and fuel our bodies for the things we love to do. What a great book for an introduction to this topic for kiddos.
I do wish this book was longer because it was so cute and fun! Children might learn new words and facts and have a little giggle! The illustrations are pretty and it's fun how the sentences rhyme. It also shows healthy foods in a fun way that might get children to think of them differently!
Eating Healthy Is Cool! by Jamie Greer is a fun and engaging introduction to healthy eating for kids. The colorful illustrations and playful design make learning about fruits, vegetables and balanced meals feel exciting rather than a chore.
The book’s simple language and interactive elements make it perfect for young readers, encouraging them to explore healthy choices in a hands-on way. It’s a great tool for parents and educators to introduce nutrition in an approachable, positive manner.
A cheerful, educational read that makes healthy eating feel fun and accessible!
Such an informative and fun way to get children to interact and learn about natural whole foods! I love the normative language of whole foods and all their different names. The characters are diverse and inclusive. I love the addition of conversation starters at the end to interact with your children and start engaging in topics on food and their health. The illustrations are also very well done!

Eating Healthy Is Cool! by Jamie Greer is an engaging and insightful guide to making healthy eating fun, accessible, and enjoyable for readers of all ages. The book strikes a perfect balance between practicality and motivation, encouraging readers to rethink their approach to food without overwhelming them with rigid rules or unrealistic expectations. What I found particularly impressive is the way Greer integrates a positive, non-judgmental tone, making healthy eating feel like an empowering choice rather than a restrictive one. The language is approachable, and the book is full of relatable anecdotes, which makes it feel like a conversation with a friend who genuinely wants to help you succeed. The book's emphasis on easy-to-understand tips and its creative approach to food make it particularly valuable for those who may feel intimidated by healthy eating, though readers looking for more advanced nutritional science or specialized dietary guidance might find the content somewhat introductory. Whether you're a beginner or someone looking for fresh ideas, Eating Healthy Is Cool! offers something for everyone. The inclusion of vibrant visuals and simple recipes further enhances the book's charm, making it not just a read but also an interactive experience. Greer's clear passion for making nutritious food enjoyable is evident throughout, and the book encourages readers to embrace healthy eating in a way that feels sustainable and, yes, cool. While the book seems best suited for adults and families looking to establish healthier habits, its friendly tone and straightforward approach make it accessible to teens as well. Overall, Eating Healthy Is Cool! is a delightful and inspiring read that encourages healthy habits without feeling preachy or complicated, making it a great resource for anyone looking to make smarter food choices and embrace a more balanced lifestyle

A fun way for kids to be encouraged to try different healthy foods!
This book is bright & colorful & introduces kids to a variety of fruits, vegetables & healthy foods that many kids probably aren't even aware of.
A great idea to give kids the idea that eating this way can be fun & even "cool!" 😀
