I don't think I can express how much I loved this book. First of all, Cinda's story will always and forever be one of my favorites. Ever since I first read it as a Heartsongs Presents book. Every story in this collection not only held my attention but was so well paced and thought out. I LOVED Daughtry and Nick's story SO MUCH! The best thing for a reader is when you have the surprise of seeing familiar characters again. I LOVED learning about Garrett and Maggie's life again! SUCH A WONDERFUL READ!

Always enjoy these stories of friendships and love. As in all of DiAnn Mills stories she did not disappoint. Have not read any of the other authors but looking forward to read more of their books.

I really enjoyed reading every one of these stories. I felt like I really got to know each of the main characters, which doesn’t always happen in books with several stories. I ended up loving them all and couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen next. Every author in this book wrote a great story. My attention was kept the entire time, and I didn’t want to put the book down. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Historical Romance. I had fun going to another place and time and know you will as well. I received a copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions expressed are my own.

Oh my goodness. I absolutely loved this book! These five historical stories were lovely and sweet. The dynamics between the couples showed how important understanding is to a healthy relationship. None of the couples started married life really knowing their partner, yet they were able to have successful relationships. Though it may not have been the point, I felt that they way each couple made the decision to really get to know each other and be honest and open illustrates how important these behaviors are to maintain a close relationship. Regardless, these stories were super cute and fun to read.

Very enjoyable stories! I've read other stories about mail order brides but these stories were totally different. The characters were easy to relate with and so enjoyable. Faith was such a large part of each story which is very refreshing.

The five ladies who contributed to the Mail-Order Marriage collection are top of the line authors in the Christian Romance and Christian Historical Romance genre of books. Every single novella is high quality, with complex characters, beautiful settings, and intriguing plot lines. I loved reading this book, because each successive story seemed even better than the one before it.

My favorite is the last one: Forever Yours by Tracie Peterson. Daughtry Lucas is the daughter of a very over-protective rancher who won't let a man look at her. She is getting tired of his routine and wants a life like that of her parents. When her family goes to the county fair, she meets an interesting man and escorts him around the town and the fair until her father meets them. Then it is all over but the shouting. Before the family goes home, Daughtry sees an ad for a mail order bride that ends up being a mail order bride by proxy. She writes to the man and is chosen to be his bride. After a dust-up with her father, she leaves in the middle of the night, takes the train out of town, finds a minister to perform the proxy marriage, and makes her way to the ranch of her new husband.

This is a five star, two thumbs up book, with a letter from your mail order mate.

My thanks to Barbour Publishing for allowing me to read and review this book.

5 couples find love through mail-order arrangements.

Cinda's Surprise finds Cinda in for more than a few surprises--her mail-order groom for instance. Whom so knows nothing of, until he appears on the doorstep, expecting to marry her! I loved how Cinda dealt faithfully with all of her surprises, trusting God to guide her choices.

His Brother's Bride finds Emily arriving, only to find that her intended has died. But his brother Cade, needs a mother for his young son Adam. And so she accepts the offer. I liked the way that they worked hard to make it work, and got to know each other naturally through raising Adam and working together.

Changes of the Heart is about Maura and how she sails around the world to marry Luther Buchanan. A heartfelt, realistic look at what happens when a couple is disappointed in the match, but allow God to work in their relationship.

Mail-Order Husband is a lovely, humorous story, about Gabriel Hunter, a man unfamiliar with farming and prairie life, but who has read much about it, and is willing to learn. Lena Walker needs a husband and though she is skeptical, she gives him a chance. Gabe is good with her sons, and he is a man of strong faith, though he knows next to nothing about real farm work. The boys are quite funny in this book, and loved how Gabe and Len learn to love and respect each others for their strengths and weaknesses.

Forever Yours was one of my favorites, Daughtry marries Nicholas by proxy, so she begins to fix up the house while she waits be him to show up. A wonderful fast paced read, that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Overall, a lovely collection, including some that I had read before, and were previous published in other collections. If you like mail-order romance this is a great read!
